Actually... jazariz has a point. I'm betting the PR is actually just one of the team working on the project.
As the "voice of reason", let's just stop e-mailing them until Sunday. They've already stated by the end of the week, in a couple of days, etc. Let's just wait it out and see. I, for one, am already back at college. I'm sure most of you are in the same boat or starting soon. Everyone else? Eff if I know. But do we really have time to argue this crap anymore?
In the last month or two, I've seen fake e-mails, release dates, "predictions", and even supposed dates with sources. I've seen the community rip itself apart, even though some had good intentions, while others were hoping to gain some sort of notability based on chance. I argued on MaxConsole about bad PR, including e-mails, in order to get the point across using an official channel that just giving a straight answer on the website would be the best route. I'm pretty much done.
I'm bummed like the rest of you. I've bitched and moaned, did what I could to try to get definite answers. But now I think just stopping the e-mails and giving them a few days will speed things up. Hell, might even get it between Weds and Sun, but that's totally just a guess and pending you put my suggestion into action. They're not going to get anywhere if we keep wasting their time.
