When I first heard of this, I immediately knew that they would be the team that I want to support over the shady behavior of the Gateway team. The update seems promising, and given that it'll supposedly be released next month, I imagine we'll know soon enough how legit this really is. However, given how quality the original DSTwo was, if this is indeed the same team, I'm inclined to trust them and believe that this is more than simply a Gateway clone. Soon enough we'll know for sure.

But why would they have reason to make false claims? Its by the same team as DSTWO correct? Was the DSTWO a clone of another card (I don't know much about the DSTWO)? If not, what past events give any reason to doubt the team?

I have my Gateway for now.
If it ends up coming in February and Gateway has either A. Not released their update as promised or B. This card turns out to be better. I'll just sell my gateway and cut my losses. I know supercard is a very reliable company, which makes me more tempted to go with them.

Even if this has almost all the same features as Gateway currently, I trust the SuperCard team more. I'm sure they will bring more features in the future. Just hope it's not too expensive

I looked at the specs ... is it region free? Can not find anything
about it.

Also the 9.4 thing will be probably only for the DS part. (?!)

I remember one of the first emails (fake? Reliable? Who knows), they pointed out that 3DS mode will have 4.0 - 4.5 support, and DS mode will have support till 9.4. So dont get your hopes to a working 9.4 3DS mode at the moment. Wait for official information
