Guys and gals please, if someone (LOL RYANROCKS325423) tries to troll the thread with a dupe account DON'T reply to his posts, otherwise you're going to make our job harder when cleaning up. Just report him, thanks ;)
Holy cow your sig is beautiful. :rofl2:

its pointless, they are usually like a 1-4gb sd card but spoofed to a bigger sie.....all you do is pay more for the same space as if you buy a 4gb card and not only that they will just break and corrupt your data..........TL : DR dont even think about them :P

Right, got it.

I actually have a 32gb samsung one and I have a 16gb restored one (it was previously an "upgraded" 64gb storage card which I reflashed to it's original 16gb) but the 16gb one has a weird write speed of like 7mb/s and I'm not sure if it'll be good enough ;o

I've heard the format procedure's changed in the recent firmwares but I don't know, to be honest (I haven't formatted a 9.x system). Either way, it's best not to even touch it. :P It's too risky.

You got that right. Even still! YOU MADE ME add you to my 3DS' friendlist! I nearly shat myself there :(

I think the thing I'm most looking forward to is finally being able to install the latest Smash bros update on my New 3DS.
Without it I get a message saying I can't save my game and no save game = no character unlocks.

Annoyingly I unlocked all the characters on my original 3DS and I thought the save would carry over!

Okayyyy... it looks like Melon__Bread got to you. If you want online, just use .3dz. Converting to .CIA is literally a pain in the arse.

Now, if you still plan on using .CIA just for online, format your emuNAND.

What I mean is - after you create emuNAND on your SD, go straight to System Settings and format it (backup your content first if you want).
If you run a System Format on your emuNAND before installing any .cias, entering Data Management on sysNAND will have no effect.

I never stated you could convert to a .3ds to a .cia through Gateway
Also why would you convert a .3ds to a .cia? Why not just download as a .cia to begin wtih?

I was under the impression that it'd only update you to 9.4 if it was nagging you before. If not, it'd let you format no problem??

i have 3 consoles all of them in 9.2, the other day 1 of them downloaded the update 9.4 and start to asking me to update, i just formated the 3ds and the asking stop, still in 9.2
