Hacking Gateway 3DS working on the New Nintendo 3DS.

i had a 4.x 3ds gateway for some time. Believe me if you try .cia, you do not want to go back to rom loading with gateway micro sd. installing .cia is great, and management is so simple. Just put your big SD in your 3ds and the small one in gateway.

Won't entering data management delete every .cia?

The only problem is you need roms that are in .cia format, or you have to make your own.

And if you accidently open data managment in settings, files (games) installed using .cia will be lost.

Yeah, I used both CFW 4.5 and Gateway 4.5 and I prefer the gateway menu.
.3ds files are standard they can be found easily and can be dumped from cartridges you own.
To go from a .3ds rom to an installed .cia takes like 15-45 minutes.

For me personally it's for emuNAND so I can keep playing smash online and experimenting with .cias for CitrAGB and other things. I also want to ROM hack ORAS to readd the old ladies in the hot springs so the balance between water and old ladies can be restored

this is wrong, I predicted 48 hours from 6-7pm eastern time, it's only 2:45 pm right now. 24 hours hasn't even passed. Not sure who made it lol, but it's wrong, and posted all over the place. I also said it will be posted around by 48 hours, but for sure by monday. I said this yesterday. I may even dig it out for you as well.

I'm still thinking/expecting/hoping 48 hours from my original post, maybe a tad later to fit in with the portugal midnight time
