I sold my 3ds after getting a 2ds. Some people actually prefer it.

I honestly wish my girlfriend had gotten one for her son, because she ended up paying $75 more at the time - and then there's the fact he already scraped it up, scratched the screens (after removing the protectors), and screwing up the 3D slider. But otherwise, I totally get the idea of not paying for a feature you're not going to use. I do use the 3D when I can "assume the position" (y'know, when you have the screen just right and you're holding it just the right way), but I can see how that'd be a pain.

Won't it be annoying if we find out they've had this finished all weekend and they just wanted to work on a site/logo revamp, then switch over for the release day?

They have said it is all done. They are working on "server" issues. That has us all scratching our head and speculating.

Nope. Looks like a Jan 1 release but let's hope for sooner! Great to see you revived

I think they will give us a written tutorial, and you can rely on someone from the community to post one. I would, but I don't have a proper setup :/

You must have missed something. In their emails they say they just need to set up a server for it. Everything else is ready.
