Sadly! It's my last real free day. But mostly things are happening at nights there, but i guess new year releasing is what everybody is guessing.

I've still got a couple more weeks till classes are back so I'm chilling

Yeah they told me around new years. I'm saying on the dot for some places. But they are messing around with their site recently, maybe they will release something on the next couple days! Or today. Phantom is pretty clear cut on 12 pm portugal release because that's when it usually goes down according to him, so let's hope, shall we?

I'm just busy playing my favorite sonic game so I'm not too concerned right now.

They said it in one of the 293 mail answer, like they said they were trying for xmas and like they now said they are aiming before "school start", but god help me if I have to find it in this thread.

You're throwing your money away on a 2DS, even if you will have a GW. There's no appeal to a 2DS with a GW since there's no 3D for the games GW can support. Sure you get homebrew but you can get that on a DS2 or R4 card. Just my opinion though. I also know someone who got a 2DS and regrets not getting a 3DS, but it's your money spend it how you will.

I sold my 3ds after getting a 2ds. Some people actually prefer it.

Well, here's one. I don't need the fancy 3D effect, which I can't see correctly. The 2DS is a great deal, and feels way more comfortable than the normal 3DS for me. Sadly it got a lot of negative press. The only thing I'm missing is stereo sound, but the mono speaker does a great job at simulating surround sound.
