While this is true, I'm almost certain the dates of the postings go by server time, and according to the site they are +0, a timezone where it's monday already.
So IF they were to release it, the page would display it as Monday, not Sunday anymore.

Except for all you know there server could be hosted in a different region then where they are located. They could use cloud hosting for all you know.

For example I host my guild site on the west side of the US, even though I live in central. This is all thanks to Windows Azure.

Server time is not an accurate way to find there location/time.

I think they'll really release it in the coming days, but it wouldn't surprise me if they don't. I'm also wondering if there will be a beta.

As the default IFTTT RSS channel does not seem to work correctly, I just created a Cronjob on my Server that checks for a change of the lastBuildDate every 2 Minutes. If the date changes it sends an email to IFTTT which sends a push notification to my phone. So I guess there is no way for me to miss the update

This attitude works with things you're getting for free, but people bought a Gateway Card or the New3DS because they believed the GW team that it would be released soon, around the corner, every day now, most likely before 2015. We are customers, people might as well decide against the GW because of the attitude of the team. No matter how great a product is, if the company responsible for the product treats their customers poorly they will lose said customers.
