(they clear/grey one, not the brown one over it)

I imagine all N3DS will be within the safezone for the next couple of months atleast.

Imagine when It drops it drops in beta, that would be horrible, It was chaos watching people run around when omega 2.0 dropped and everyone was like omg send me linkz haha

I totally agree, but someone several pages back had asked specifically about Play Asia's most recent stock. Logically I knew in the back of my mind there was no way it would be higher than 9.2.0, but I'm not going to lie, I was scared going through the initial setup. But, when I got to the settings menu and seen that lovely 9.0.0-20E staring back at me I breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Haha I'm gonna be the same when I receive mine, even though many people have specifically stated it came with 9.0 and I'm buying the same one, but until you actually see it I suppose you're bound to be like

So true, I think what made it worse was the fact that it was a new shipment and 9.3.0 had already been released. After that I guess my imagination just ran away with itself.

I'm switching between browsing this forum and some Chinese ones, and some of them are just as impatient as us, haha.

would I need to find a new 3ds touchscreen or will this work with the one in mine right now? The screen size is different than regular 3ds and 3ds XL, I'll be back in an hour.

return it, tell them you have gotten a faulty one. Get a new one. Chances are its going to come with the 8.1 firmware. and since gateway has decided to start support on it after 9.x support. Its not a real loss in the end.

Don't wast time with opening it and voiding everything.. tell play Asia that it's not working and you need an exchange. Possibly even show them a video.

I have family in australia, I guess I'll just pay them once I get a refund and avoid the hassle through that...

Return it, or ask for an exchange. I know how badly you want to keep it because of whatever firmware is on there. But there could be more damaging shit going on, not to mention how badly it was probably tossed around during shipment. Not worth it, get an exchange.

I totally agree with 2Hack and tony_2018, they have a 6 month return policy and will even cover return shipping charges on defective products.
