I'm fine with 10 roms per microSD, so long as I can throw another microSD in and carry on.
you can just delete games from the micro SD and put on new ones, that works.

So you figure there is NO conversion with the crack tool? It simply spits out the code.you can just delete games from the micro SD and put on new ones, that works.

No it changes something. The CRC is different on the files after I ran it versus the file before I ran it. I thought it didn't do anything either, but it does "something".
Aggghhh. I don't have more than 8 ROMs that I can really try. All the others I try constantly loop or skip change. Even if I only put one ROM on the cart, it will just sit there and loop.
Why are we reaching a game that skips, that's what I wanna know.As Philipx99 helpfully said earlier, when you reach a game that skips hold the red button down for 5 seconds. The LED should then flash slowly and the game won't change but you can still play the game.
So then why doesn't sky just make all latest templates NO EEPROM?
And if they did increase the EEPROM size...Why? when they could just update the templates as NO EEPROM.
Sorry I'm just trying to wrap my head around this. If you play by the rules and just go with 10 games using disk writer everything works great, no save issues, no looping issues.
I'm going to go ahead and say the fact the official website links to this thread is a sign of laziness.
You lazy ass. . If I'm not mistaken it depends on each person's cart.Ok then, anyone know if these roms skip or loop:
-snip-
For me, it's not a limit per se, it seems to be particular ROMs that loop/skip. Even if I put only one ROM on the cart (e.g. Tetris) it loops indefinitely.

The way I understand it is that the Sky3ds has stored which were the first 10 games you loaded onto it were and will run them fine.
If you copy any new roms to the sd or format the SD and copy new roms, they won't be on the sky3ds' internal list and so it will try to skip them. So because of this, the list of skipping games will be different for every person.
Is it just those 4 roms you listed above giving you issues? My Sky3DS has never used EEPROM, so there is no list to load. This happens even with one ROM. I don't think that's what's happening here. Sky3DS is glitching on these ROMs.

what if you keep it below 10 on a new sd?Just because you've not chosen EEPROM saving doesn't mean that sky3ds hasn't saved the list of your first 10 games. I've just loaded up another 2 games on my full card and they've both become skipping games. The number of games that don't skip though? Exactly 10.
I'm sure if you count up the number of games that you've loaded in the past that don't skip it adds up to 10.

Arithmatics thanks method 1 works great!!
since best of all roms after 10 are on separate card keep skipping each at good speed other, frees me from manually pressing, save data stays there, and even after closing the game i can relaunch it. though i have to restart the 3ds to change the game.
dawnbomb i just sharpied the led indicator, no more flahing promblem
