Hardware List of known New 3DS Titles?

Does anyone have a list of announced or known "New 3DS" games? I am having trouble googling it because of Nintendo's strange naming decision...

Thanks for any help!

I never got a 3ds and was just considering getting one when I heard about the New 3ds, now I'm not sure what to do...

Do you have a direct link? Maybe I'm missing it, but I only see a 3DS section, no "New 3ds" section on their site. Do you mean some forum thread there?

Ummm it should be under the same section as 3DS games @ GameFAQS just as the DSi enhanced titles were in the DS section @ GameFAQS and if it's an exclusive it'll probably say somewhere in the game title as being only for New 3DS and exclusive.

So far these are the games I know that are either likely going to be New 3DS exclusive or enhanced:

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - Enhanced
Code Name S.T.E.AM. - Enhanced
Bravely Second - Possibly Enhanced
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker - Possibly Enhanced
Final Fantasy Explorers - Enhanced
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D - Possibly Enhanced
Xenoblade Chronicles - Exclusive
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Possibly Exclusive (unknown)
Super Mario Sunshine 3D - Possibly Exclusive (unknown)

Twilight Princess and Sunshine? I don't know but i'd rather see HD remakes of those games. Not 3D remakes.

Can you post a source to the information about these titles or are these just speculative titles that some might assume would come to the 3DS.

Like Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. I have seen no information from the quick googling I've done to indicate this is even coming to the 3DS platform, much less the New 3DS system.

I've looked at GameFAQs game listings and Twilight Princess does not show up anywhere in the 3DS platform. If that is the sole source you are basing this on is that site, then showing Twilight Princess among to the other games is misleading and you should remove mention of it.

Speculation and rumors or supposedly fake leaks hence the bracketed (unknown).

Well the basis of this thread was originally to build a list of "known" 3DS titles for the New 3DS. Not games that are "speculated" based rumors and unconfirmed information. I don't think it helps the topic at hand to include such titles as it derails the topic into speculation.

Why not GameFAQs has been doing it forever even for cancelled titles which they then fix be moving it to the cancelled section but I suppose you're right if they are only leaked rumors ATM.

BTW this is an extremely hard topic to answer as the release date for the New 3DS in North America and Europe has still not been announced, 2015 means nothing when they can't even narrow it down to which quarter of the upcoming new year.

This is what I'm going with to fuel up my hype for the New 3DS while waiting for it to hit NA shores, pretty pointless for me to get an old 3DS XL right now as I've already passed up on all the Black Friday deals after seeing the New 3DS in action on YouTube.

Even if some of it is just speculation, thanks for the list!

If only because the New 3ds is already out in Australia in Japan, I'd expect there to be a little more information about what exclusives / enhanced titles it has.. I even looked through the official Australian site, but there wasn't any mention of games as far as I could tell.

Anyway, I think Xenoblade is a pretty cool choice, but I hope there are some actually new titles sometime soon and not just re-releases.

There will be but I wouldn't count on more then just under two handful's of New 3DS exclusives, Nintendo is surely is not dumb enough to abandon the huge install base of users on the old 3DS.

There will however be lots of New 3DS enhanced retail games this time around unlike enhanced DSi games last generation which purely focused on DSiWare games, most New 3DS exclusives will probably come starting in spring 2016 with enhanced New 3DS titles starting in spring 2015 (which is the speculated release date for the New 3DS in NA and EU).

This is all speculation but the amount of New 3DS exclusives all depends on how many current old 3DS owners upgrade to the New 3DS in 1-2 years time and ultimately how well the New 3DS sells (from early sales numbers it's doing extremely well in Japan), the number of new 3DS enhanced games (retail and eShop) will probably remain more or less the same regardless developers are still making the same game and working on pretty much the same console architecture anyways.
