Sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to say.

Who are you referring to as the victims and the perpetrators?
Seems pretty obvious.
Perpetrators = SKY3DS, for misleading consumers into thinking this was some kind of issue that they were attempting to find a fix for. You'd have to be mentally challenged to actually believe the 10 game limit was unintentional.
Victims = Consumers.

Source: There was an e-mail going around the forums from the SKY3DS team in which they said they're looking for a "fix" for the "issue".

People don't deserve to be duped because they aren't smart enough (or knowledgable enough about flashcards) to know that they're being played for fools.

You make it sound as if someone got robbed or murdered
That says more about your perception of the words "victim" and "perpetrator" than me. Look these words up, they're used correctly. I never implied murder or robbery.

The thing is, it states the limitation on the website.

The same way that Gateway says "only compatible on 4.1-4.5" on theirs. Do you think that someone who buys a Gateway that has an updated 3DS has the right to rage and call themselves victims? (because they didn't read?)

Seems pretty obvious.

It doesn't; there are no victims or perpetrators in this situation.

There are no victims. Everyone knew of the 10 game limit. And thing is, people who bought it can now use it with more than 10 games, so they "fixed" the "issue".

This is the whole ps3 vs xbox all over again...

I will buy both and they will both have great situations to be used. I'm a techie and will use gateway and my gf can use the sky3ds when I'm not using my n3DS, knowing I won't come home to an updated sysnand. Money well spent.

You do get your money's worth on any of these carts everyone has mentioned, sky3ds, gateway, last and least r4i. If your entire goal is to play pirated games. None of them are more than the price of 2-3 3ds games retail.

Mate, when satire goes over everyone's heads, is it really still a good joke?

Also, it's hard to express sarcasm or detect sarcasm without the /s when you are reading/writing.

I think everyone but a couple of people got it. Can't please them all. Bite it.

The thing is, it states the limitation on the website.
It's tucked away on the FAQ page, and is not present on the main page.
They even have 90% of the FAQ on the main page, but excluded the mention of the 10 game limit, how surprising.

Unlike SKY3DS, Gateway the 4.1-4.5 compatibility on their main page, under the features of the card.
Infact, it's on every page.

Good job ignoring what I said about SKY3DS lying about the nature of the 10 game limit though.

Yeah, well they're a bit shady. So what? Does writing small print on contract or exploiting loopholes in contracts make someone legally liable?

Or is that what you're trying to say? That they're shady? Well then, you're correct.

What lie? You have stated yourself that you saw it in the FAQ. So they put it away from plain sight. That is not equivalent to lying.

Pretty sure it was there when it was effective, but don't quote me on that. Pretty sure I saw the limit posted at the top of the site this/last morning. There's no limit, so they removed it from the site.

Who mentioned legality? I never accused them of being legally liable for anything.
My point is that they're a terrible, immoral team that is taking advantage of people and playing them for fools.

Or is that what you're trying to say? That they're shady? Well then, you're correct.
Thank you. I would say they're significantly worse than shady, but thank you.

Using a tool that they stole from a guy.

:rofl2:

It seriously amazes me how people can defend this "team". They're almost comically terrible.

    Only Xbox I don't have is the OG, and One X model specifically, I regret giving my chipped OG model to one of my kids years ago, after later hearing he sold it to pawn shop, damn kids!

    I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.

    @Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    dualbooth
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    Speaking of which
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
