yeah if this doesnt need cubic ninja to trigger the exploit.....basically im sure smealum could port ssspwn to work with the new entry point.....still homebrew only, just no reliance on cubic ninja

despite how people like to bash gateway, you have to give them credit where credits due, without them there would literally be nothing at all in the 3DS scene right now

Remember that Mii maker suggestion you made, finally happend, I noticed that it jumps directly to mii maker?!

Guys they were already in gateway mode when they opened the console. The mii maker has nothing to do with it. At least not that we can tell.

yeah.....but for all we know their patches are probably fairly crude right now....so it may be completely unreleated and just a bug in their beta FW that causes the cart to be detected incorrectly.......(ps i think its probably mii maker related but shhhhhhh :P)

Do you know what? I sent them a message right after our private conversation;
New potential entry point exploit: try to Crash Mii maker throught QR code, mii maker is in every 3DS!!

I'm fairly sure it has nothing to do with Mii maker. It looks like she just hit the R trigger with her finger when she puts it down.

EDIT: I just tried this and it and R trigger doesn't move the menu to the right. I uess I'm just remembering things wrong.

Wonder if they can trigger emunand :O
most probably, but even if they can't given all out new found rom decrypting and repacking abilities and installing .cia files meaning you dont need eshop to get updates etc.....its not eactly a big deal if we cant update....well atleast until we have some sort of 10.x encryption deal again.....but i dont think i will doubt gateways abilities again, they can solve pretty much anything it seems

Til we want to play online. Oo

i see it has CIA install support, does that mean i can use the gateway to install the games then not need it again, or do they only run with gateway inserted? i'm defiantly buying the card but would be nice to know if it can be done then use the one gateway for my sister as well

But is a lot more risky install cias in real nand than in emunand!!
hmmmm so so, as long as you dont try installing random crap......but again im pretty sure they will get emunand working, theres just pretty much zero reason atm, and lets face it they have dev menu installed etc, so its not like it would just brick your system

If you're worried about NAND, just don't bother with .cia files until you know whether or not emuNAND is happening. I'm sure emuNAND will come about. It seems unlikely that every other part of the last exploit would work except for this. If they have kernel access, which they must with how extensive this is, then I would assume emuNAND will be on the way.
