Funny, that is exactly what I try to do for the moment. ;)

If I understand what I read, for now the only way is to use the official 3DS SDK that was leaked in August.

But... this is not legal.

And some of the original sources are now ineffective. The only one I found remind me my 56K V90 modem (~ 7 kB/s for a 300 MB archive)

Good luck...

Thanks for the clarification. ;)

Do you confirm this is the only way for wav -> bcwav ?

The only way to currently do it is with Gericom's Every File Explorer.

And some online editor I heard of, but I don't think anyone's interested in that.

There's no online "editor." There's just a BCSTM download option on Brawl Custom Music instead of just BRSTMs now. I was gonna do a (vgmstream supported format)->BCSTM converter, but I don't have the free time at the moment.

It seems the EFE generates BCSTM files that are too large. I converted the BCSTM from the official Legend of Zelda theme to WAV, then used EFE to convert back to BCSTM. The resulting file is twice as large as the original and can't be imported due to it's file size. The ones I can import do not loop correctly once imported with extdata.

Is there an alternative for this out there?

So, it's been a while, are there any BCSTM converters? I want to convert BCSTMs to BRSTMs, but I've been unable to find any.

Looping Audio Converter can do this, as well as convert files between simple .wav, .mp3, .flac, .BCSTM, .BRSTM, .BFSTM, and .ogg formats.

@Veho, Sounds and smells like bullshit. They don't give you cancer, and California should know that. I don't get why they stick labels that say "may or may not cause reproductive harm or cancer".

I mean if a company could use AI to do the work of a home conversion for essentially free why not? The rights for some games are completely lost though
