For Volgarr it's probably my tried for rez fixes. Can you try by setting the DMA preset in page 3 to off ?

Edit : maybe not since you have other games in CDI... Please try alpha 0.58/0.59 and turn off all new presets in 0.60

Is mortal kombat a regression ? Or always been like that ?

Same question for Nanatsu No Hikan... But I bet you need to check the same option than Street Fighter 3.2 / Bangai O... Check compatibility, I don't remember the name of that preset

Same. Not booting.

Mortal Kombat was always one of the faster games up until now, As I said, no speed change, but no regressions whatsoever. I even finished the game, which I posted about when I made the second list., as the speed was decent enough to try and make it to the end of the game. I'm going to also finish Capcom vs. SNK, which is very fast now, though the sound crackles a lot.

I tried everything from 320 to 400, it didn't fix it. Maybe another specific value, but there are a lot.

I tried a few more games:
  • Daytona USA 2001 (USA). Works with GDI, not CDI. Fast menus, Medium speed (27-29 fps) races, some messed up graphics in menus.
  • Giga Wing (USA). Works with GDI, not CDI. Fast speed, can't see enemies or menus.
  • Giga Wing 2 (USA) (CDI). Medium speed.
  • Gunbird 2 (USA) (CDI). Slow to Medium speed gameplay, though it randomly drops at less than half. Visually, same case as Nanatsu no Hikan (Japan), this game runs on a compressed portion on the left side of the screen, but you can fix it with CANVAS WIDTH set to 320.
  • Mars Matrix (USA) (CDI). Fast speed in main menu, slows to 1 fps when you try to enter a game.
  • Resident Evil Code Veronica X (Japan). Medium speed, many graphical errors.
  • Sega Tetris (Japan). Fast to medium speed gameplay and menus. The game is heavy on Japanese text.
  • Street Fighter Zero 3 - Saikyo-ryu Dojo for Matching Service (Japan) (GDI). Fast speed with TEXTURE CACHE set to NORMAL or less, but you can't see menus. Slow speed with TEXTURE CACHE set to QUALITY, but you can see menus now.
  • Tetris 4D (Japan). Full speed.

What's the point in porting an emulator if the code is written by an AI? I think you could easily find a wii programmer who'd be happy to join forces and improve speed and/or accuracy

The point is: people can do whatever they please with their hobby time, if it makes them happy, unless they happen to live inside a dictatorship.

Of course. That's exactly the reason why right now we have 9 Dreamcast emulators running on the Wii, all sharing code and knowledge by humans, because that's what makes it worth existing. And that's exactly the reason all of the emulators on Wii are filled with thousands of Pull Requests to make them run perfect in the console, because it is easy to find hundreds of Wii programmers happy to join forces and donate their time for free.

If he would be paid yes maybe :)

The point is : "going as far as we could with AI to proove the concept", ans so far it showed astonishing results.

The last update with Wii's MMU that brough +15% FPS was a highly complicated task, even SKMP (original programmer of NullDC and this port) aknowledge it would be a "pain" and tough AI wouldn't be so good at it.

Praise the lord, the first iteration of that fix (with Fable 5) didn't make any improvement, and in an unexpected turns of event, that was set aside because of devkit update. But finally I tryed another round, and with the luck of still some free Fable 5 we where able to do this low-level algorythm.

I'll be more than happy that some wii programmer would join. Unfortunatly, either they are busy, either they don't want to join the project because AI is involved.
