I am running 2.6 gateway and have installed BBM (BigBlueMenu) and SDF (SaveDataFiler). I just went and bought Fantasy Life off the eshop and when downloading I get 007-2917, it made the wrapped icon on the home screen but did not finish downloading. When I tell it to download now from the home screen I get the 005-4273. My guess is its just my shitty connection. But any chance it could it be that I have BBM or SDF.

I feel like I heard something a long time ago about updating emunand or restoring a backup could ruin it, but idk. I have never bought any DLCs so I am not even sure how that works. Neither should effect the DLC, since it's saved to the SD card. However, you shouldn't go into data settings in sysnand or it'll get deleted (But then you could redownload from eshop). I usually use these when I want to buy stuff from the eshop

Yes, just replace the launcher.dat on the big sd card.

In order to find the save file of "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: Special Demo Version (EUR)" with SaveDataFiler, do I need to install the game as CIA?

The "000400000014A300" save is nowhere to be found. On an empty SD card, it still can find the savefile. So it is stored on the (emu)NAND.

What must I do to obtain the savefile, and decrypt it with currently public methods?

Also, on my empty SD card, this dummy save file was created:
000400000FF40A02.sav

Nothing interesting... But just wondering if somebody knows what it is.

There is the SKY3DS flashcard that is supposed to work on 9.x 3DS's.

It shouldn't, as far as I know.
But you could otherwise try to remove the CIA installed files. (Manually, or go to the Data Managment in SysNAND which removes all CIA files the way we install them.)

Your backup should be converted to a CIA file: Tutorial Link
I'm unsure if you can play games that are released for higher then 4.5 FW on the 4.x CFW...

Also, I've tried to extract all the titles I could, but those just seem to by system titles.
The other ones are broken. (marked red in the SaveDataFiler) And cannot be extracted.

1) Where are the saves of digital games stored? In the NAND?

2) What happens if you access the eShop after installing DLC or a digital title via .cia files? Does it get deleted? Do you get blocked from the eShop?

With Gateway where are the game saves? I wanted to make a backup of my Pokemon save so I can essentially transfer event pokemon but still keep them by reverting the save, but it seems it's unlike the DS where it simply had a .sav file named the same as the rom.

I myself just figured out a bit more about the SaveGameFiler here, and Pokemon games are Type2.
That means that the save file is stored inside the game it self.

To backup the save, you either backup the game.
Or you use SaveGameFiler and insert you pokemon game cartridge and extract it to the SD card. So you can restore it back later on.
(If you use a GW, just select the game in the Home menu before you go to the SaveGameFiler)

There is no tutorial, it's download links coinciding with just a bunch of random posts with vague tutorials that don't tell what an aes core is.

Since my SD cards were a little short I swapped them for bigger SD/Micro-SD cards. Now I have a 16Gb SD card for the 3DS and 64Gb for the gateway card.
The issue is that when I try to access the Gateway mode it kicks me to the sysnand, I can access the menu where I can choose gateway or classic mode but when I chose Gateway I get back to sysnand.
Did I mess up with something ?

Have you transferred your EmuNAND or set up EmuNAND again?
