Ended up not working, but thanks for responding!
You either check your router or use something like http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_network_watcher.html
Just tried that, none of the MAC addresses match, so I assume the 3DS isn't on the list. I was able to find all the computers in the house though.

Edit: Got it to work, it just wasn't showing up for whatever reason.

My 3ds is booting after pressing L but my computer says ctrclient: failed to connect. My router says tha my 3ds ip is 192.168.2.6 and i modified the run.bat like this installcia 192.158.2.6 1 Devmenu_2x.cia. Any idea?

So this CFW (as it stands, at least) just adds the ability to use the Dev menu and subsequently install games directly to the home menu? It doesn't limit any of my pervious standing abilities?

Hey Thanks devin. I finally got it to flash blue and white, but my 3ds main menu is frozen. It's playing the sounds, but I can't move anything. Is this normal?

When i run the batch, it says
\3DS_CFW>pause press any key to continue...

Hrm. I haven't experienced that. Perhaps try rebooting and see if you can boot into it again. If it acts up I'd say something went awry with the NAND.bin file or injecting it into the emuNAND partition. I'd retry injecting it if rebooting doesn't work.

Thanks guys

Is there anyway to some how use the devmenu to install CIA titles and then have the CIA title work in GW emunand?

I know that I could probably use this CFW to install say NSMB with DLC and then update the SDNAND to GW emunand and still have NSMB work on 9.2 GW emunand but I can't think of a way that I can install more CIA titles in the future.

This is one of my questions as well. It's a nice stepping stone in terms of development, but if I can just launch into GW EmuNAND or redNAND (if that's what we're calling it now) then I don't necessarily need this in its current form.

Apparently, DevMenu and pals get "hidden" when launching this special emuNAND with Gateway's launcher.

Trying again worked. But I am gonna have to download a demo because no gift showed up.

Is this suppose to happen, because it's not showing up on the CFW. I have rebooted and retested many times now.

What to do next... I guess install SaveDataFiler and see if newer versions of DevMenu will work :P
Edit: Man my phone takes too great pics lol.

Edit2: None of the SaveDataFiler versions can be installed with this DevMenu. I tried the 2.x, 4.x and 5.x ones. Same for GameCoinSetter/PlayCoinSetter.
Complains about invalid argument. I wonder if the .cia files are not correctly made?
They are also shown in red in the file list, which isn't a good sign.

Might have to refer to the last part of my tutorial or try again after rebooting the 3DS. And guys, I think we know what the DevMenu looks like by now. :P

7. You should see a gift box on your 3DS' main screen. If not then you might need to download something from the eShop. Which requires you to be on the latest emuNAND, connect to the eShop, download a demo, and then reinjecting your modified NAND.bin file into the SD card. (I had a backup of my SD card with demos from the eShop so I just copied that over to the SD card.) Congrats.

Totally skipped over that, looks like I'm going to have to have my 3DS in sleep mode to receive an auto-spotpass gift. Thank you!

Also, does the installation of .cia files mean the games go on the SD card as opposed to the MicroSD?

Try installing it to the NAND, instead of SDMC.
