I Am Bread (Coming Soon)

Now I know what you're thinking.

That's one attention grabbing title.

Is this a new reporter proclaiming that he is actually a piece of bread? Or is this, in fact, Bossa Studio's latest wacky and crazy simulation game? I think its safe to say the latter is more likely.

Surgeon Simulator developer Bossa Studios has announced its next project, and it's both completely unexpected and about as strange as you'd expect: I Am Bread, an emotionally fraught tale of one slice's quest to become toasted.


The "first look" video indicates that players will use a controller to interact with the four corners of a slice of bread, maneuvering it around a household environment, and the Twitter account hints that "Toasters aren't the only way to toast bread." Beyond that, however, we really don't know anything about I Am Bread at this stage, including what platforms it's being developed for.

Meh...I don't care about it right now. But at least they're creative. Who knows...it can't get much worse than rock simulator, so...yeah.

And before you go bashing things or being sarcastic: is the plot of super Mario (a paddo tripping plumber) or Sonic (a hedgehog on sneakers) any better?

Normally I don't pay attention to Simulator clones, but I give this one special attention mostly because it's from Bossa. Surgeon simulator is awesome so I have good hopes for this toast.

It reminds me a bit of Octodad meets Goat Simulator and that sounds fantastic to me.
