Hacking R4i

Hello everyone. I have some questions about my R4i RTS Lite Upgrade Unlimited. It is a silver card and the website on the front is www.r4i-kungfu.com. I tried using the website and the site seemed to be shut down. I have had this card for as long as I remember and I dont remember where I got it. I am trying to use it on the DSi, and when I put the card in it reads and says "The Spiderwick Chronicles" or something, then when I try to load it it blackscreens and gives me an error message. When I try with a regular DS, it loads the starting screen and then freezes. I believe the flashcard is a fake, and I have searched the web extensively for kernals and firmware, but with no avail. If anyone can tell me how to fix this issue, please explain how. Thanks.

There are almost no legit R4s out there any more. But the following kernel should work: http://www.r4i-gold.hk/R4I+English.zip. Just copy the files from the archive to your microSD. But it probably still won't work with the DSi.
BTW: If you aren't interested in the card any more feel free to give it to me

Thanks... I guess. The link doesn't work for me. Maybe it's blocked in the US or something. Ill think about giving it to you if I lose interest in it, lol. I still cant find a kernel, but thanks anyway.

In that case you can try https://web.archive.org/web/20130303165357/http://www.r4i-gold.hk/R4i+English.zip. Seems like the link got token down shortly after I tried it.

First you have to determine you your R4 card specifically what type of card. Different r4 card firmware is not the same, naturally you can not use that card on your. So, First you have to determine you your R4 card specifically what type of card, then to that card's official website to download the kernel.

The R4i Kung Fu uses the r4i-gold.hk kernel.
