i got a feeling this "super special secret" is probably a virtual boy emu...which id love to see that wario game running perfect on it complete with 3d and sound...that would be awesome... alas i think people really wanna see this emu get finished i know i do..i enjoy me some classic mario

Just one week, but i am busy with class exam, when i finish all, i will continue the study of GBA Architecture, i written something of ARM7TDMI

ah still that's awesome maybe you and staplebutter could get together and collab...you could also look into the fact that Nintendo made a gba emu and used it with a gbc or gb virtual console rom for the 3ds but the emu was incomplete so they made a hardware based one

Unneeded? And I don't recall him saying he was dropping this project either. It's perfectly possible for a person to have more than one project going at a time.

<snip> it was my first project on 3DS Scene, the first emulator of NES, worked first on bare-metal and now how a true homebrew, 3DNES work with a lot of games, just without fullspeed because we don't use GPU, just need implement new mappers and some fix on CPU timming

I actually wish there would be a Virtual Boy emulator. I'm actually sure that Gateway will be bypassing to run GBA games on the 3DS. (I'm sure injecting another rom will also be available later on).
Virtual Boy is still very unique, and should be great using the 3DS' screen capabilities to show the 3D screen on it

Why do people want a Virtual Boy emulator so bad? Wasn't it a crappy flop of a system? I understand it was one of the first "3D" consoles, but wouldn't it still look like crap with its red and black colors? Ick.

It doesn't matter if it's crap or not....
It's just the matter of fact that we HAVE the opportunity to get such thing to work

There are also great homebrews out there on the VB.

Anyway, don't want to hijack this thread further
I hope that st4rk will consider a VB emulator though...
