Hacking New 3DS patching flashcarts?

I am kind of concerned that the *NEW* 3DS will patch my DSTWO. What are the odds of that? Personally I want the *NEW* 3DS XL.

I know, give the cartridge slot a tighter fit. That'll thwart most if not all dstwo users.

XD. I would use a file to widen out the slot again.

We'll never know unless it comes out. No use creating a new thread about it since DSTWO will probably give out a notice if the DSTWO will work or not work on the N3DS once it comes out on their website.

That would pretty much remove the entire point of patching it in the first place.

No, that would be the patch! A patch in the hardware!

I'm pretty certain I saw that the New 3DS will not support DS games, therefore no DS slot-1 cards will work at all.

A: As far as Nintendo DS/DSi software goes, it won’t be able to play game cartridges that require a specific connection to the cartridge slots, such as the ones that required the GBA cartridge slot on the DS Lite and DS.

Other titles, for example Pokémon Tretta Lab, which requires extra hardware that fit the original 3DS’ shape and size, also won’t be compatible.
