No, the XL still has this issue if you apply enough pressure. I have one and got irremovable white dots on the top screen. The bumpers are not big enough, so I got screen protectors. It's basically impossible to use ABXY buttons and the second analog at the same time on every console.
It's nice to not have the 3D stop working if you move your head 1 centimeter.
? The XL fixed this, and the new 3DS model adds bumpers to the top screen, so I don't see why this would still happen. Although I suppose it's impossible to say for sure, but it looks like they fixed it.
Also, I don't know about you, but for me the 3D doesn't stop working after moving 1 cm as you claim, but as I said I got the XL version. Although it is noticeable after moving around.
And no, it IS possible to use the ABXY buttons with an analog stick, however the distance between the tiny analog stick and the buttons of the N3DSXL will definitely make it harder, almost impossible to press them naturally as you're supposed to.
Except Nintendo said that they are making games exclusive to this console. That's what infuriates people the most. Of course developers won't develop their games for this console specifically, but Nintendo will actively try to convince them otherwise. As far as we know, these game's won't be "exclusive" to this new 3DS, they will simply be optimized for it, and thus lag a bit on our old 3DS.
As for "all the best titles", I hardly think so. You have to think of userbase. Do you really think the millions of people who already own a 3DS, are just going to go and pick up this new one? No. Most developers will say "well... we're not going to make that much money if we only release it on the new one, so lets target the old one for now".
By the time developers are mainly focusing on the new one, an actual fully new handheld from Nintendo will likely come out lmao.
Although I still have my hopes that this won't succeed and that the games released for it won't matter that much. All we got right now is a port.
