Hardware New Faster Lighter 3DS Console Announced

One of the worst moves in the gaming industry in recent memory... Nintendo always was a greedy company, but this is a new low even for them...

They are betraying their loyal customers by making their console obsolete after only 3 years? And there are people here defending this move? What are you, gamers and customers or Nintendo's PR team?

I really love Nintendo's games, they renewed my love for gaming after the total bore of FPSes last gen, but this is too much.

If this "New 3DS" gets many AAA exclusives and my current 3DS gets the leftovers, then i will get a "new 3ds" and will pirate its games like there is no tomorrow...

PS: Xenoblade is perfectly possible on the older 3DS. 2K ported Xcom and is porting Bioshock on fscking smartphones... This is just a dick move...

There probably will, like Xenoblade...which will be exclusive to the "New 3DS". As far as games on the 3DS, I wouldnt imagine we would lose functionality if it was a game for both if thats what you mean. Though I could see them making use of the buttons for minor improvement tho I guess.

Except the ps3 revisions don't add more hardware, but I digress. It's still called a 3ds, but has updated hardware. Imagine all those "this game works on the New 3ds, but not on the 3DS". At least people seem to know the DS is not compatible anymore..

Smartphones are much more capable than the 3DS. That doesn't really apply here. Besides, look at how the Metal Gear Solid remake ran on the 3DS.
