Pokémon and Hoenn were decent, but let's not kid ourselves with the music. The only good track was the Regis' theme.
It's my second worst pokémon game (first one is Red/Blue for obvious reasons). They also forced everyone to give up their pokémon a gen behind and make them get the Red/Blue remakes to complete the pokédex.
How about further toning down the hypothetical regular 3DS version in terms of FOV/draw distance/polycount/effects to release the game in there as well? That would actually be a good thing for the consumer's point of view, giving him genuine choice. That is, assuming you are trying to be a videogames consumer, not a nintendo investor.ever played MGS snake eater 3d? wanna play xenoblade witha poor framerate? okay.

In the direct Iwata compared the buttons to the SNES's pad ones and the second analog stick to the Cube's pad C-stick. I think he hinted us that on this new 3ds we'll have a new virtual console supporting snes and gamecube games
Do you currently own a regular 3DS (or 2DS) model? Did you hold out in buying the analog addon for MH hoping there would be a 3DS revision? Or do you have both of those things already?Okay then but I still can save 20€ by not buing a second Slide pad pro addon since it's already implemented to play my MH.
Well, DS had Mario 64. 3ds has indeed Starfox 64, but it's a lot more powerful than a n64 so it's actually possible that they can do some cube portThe new 3DS running gamecube? Sorry, that is not going to happen, not a chance for it.

An actual port, yes, especially considering Xenoblade is getting a port. But they'd have to spent a lot of resources porting it, it's not like it can be easily emulated or something.Well, DS had Mario 64. 3ds has indeed Starfox 64, but it's a lot more powerful than a n64 so it's actually possible that they can do some cube port
Should have quoted the guy who claimed that having an included cpp was his preferred way to play MH, not me.Totally off topic, but I never found any issue at all with playing MH without the CPP. I have ~250 hours logged with all of G rank completed (100% solo due to no online or friends), and I never had a single issue playing with one stick. All you have to do is tap L every so often, and you're good to go.

My point is that he is defending a whole system revision because he can save 20$ by not needing an addon for his MH titles... except that implies he already has a 3DS -AND- a CCP already, so he's saving jack shit, he's just paying more for another system.

There probably will, like Xenoblade...which will be exclusive to the "New 3DS". As far as games on the 3DS, I wouldnt imagine we would lose functionality if it was a game for both if thats what you mean. Though I could see them making use of the buttons for minor improvement tho I guess.I'm sure someone else has already said it but... It's worrying that there will be games that will require the new buttons, second slide pad (more like a J-stick mouse from a Thinkpad) and/or extra CPU power.![]()
