It does, not multiplayer per se but with online your able to send your character to other friends' games, receive friends in your game, and receive nemesis from your friends.
Theres possibly more but i dont remember since i never been online with BD lol.

You don't need a proper header for any of those features, they just use streetpass which you can use without a header.

Your able to get nemesis through streetpass and random people's characters.
But you need to connect to the internet to update your own character for sharing, otherwise your just sending a lvl 1 tiz to all people that you streetpass with.
You also need to connect to the internet if you want your friends characters, unless you can set up a streetpass with them.

Honestly, its a small feature, i just dont wanna have to redo 80+ hours which i know i wont do lol. (too many games to play)

Usually yes, but who knows. And i guess those who have v8x on their emunand, will have to delete it and update emunand again.

Im pretty sure you can play games regardless if you have an updated emunand or not, not sure about playing through classic mode tho.
And lets hope that GW's new update allows access to the latest update, so you'll be able to update your emunand to 8.x and wont have to worry about that .
(im pretty sure it will since the video shows them on version "GW 8.1.X)

In a topic totally unrelated to anything I just upgraded my 5.1 XL to 8.1.....I already have two 4.5 (one regular and one XL) and both a GW and MT so I figured what the hell. I have all my original ambassador games and such on this unit and finally gave up hope we will see a post 4.5 kernel hack...and if we do I imagine it would not be on 5.1 or something old as I doubt anyone is investing time in looking for a kernel exploit on those firmwares any longer. If we see a new kernel hack it will likely be on 8.x after the new user exploit gets released.....here is hoping

If there's one thing I wish they could add would be a way to decrypt ROMs for replacing files (like voices for undubs) and play decrypted ROMs.

It's probably far from happening, but oh well, new release coming up! It's great to see them continuing to support their product.
