I call it fake since it's third party. Not official nintendo made. Plus look at the box carefully. "Wii Remote required". Note that the Official GameCube Adapter from Nintendo plugs into the Wii U with two USB plugs and allows you to plug in 4 GameCube controllers. No Wii Remote required here. So what it really is, is a Classic Controller Pro in a GameCube controller shell, NOT a GameCube controller.
But the point of this topic is, shouldn't we be able to use these controllers for devolution? I mean since they plug into the wii remote, i'm assuming it'll act like a classic controller. Meaning devolution should be able to detect it. If that's the case, and if it'll have the L&R analog triggers, then this could be the closest thing to a real gamecube controller to use with devolution on the Wii U. What do you guys think? Would it work?
Also, I know this won't work with nintendont. Unless blue tooth support is added to it.
