WARNING: TURNING ON YOUR 3DS WILL CAUSE THE BATTERY TO DRAIN, USE THIS TUTORIAL AT YOUR OWN RISK
1. Own a 3ds.
2. Press the power button
FAQ:
Q: My 3ds didn't start
A: Try holding the power button for a little longer, make sure your 3ds is charged, make sure you have a battery inserted into the 3ds.
Q: I don't own a 3ds, what should I do?
A: Buy one
Q: Ok, I've managed to turn the 3DS on, now how do I turn it off, furthermore, how would I possibly manage to turn it back on after that?!
A: This is a great question, and one without a simple answer. To turn your 3DS off, you will need to PRESS AND HOLD THE POWER BUTTON, DO NOT WORRY, THIS WILL NOT TURN YOUR 3DS ON DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT IS ALREADY ON, instead the 3DS will power off. To turn it on after you have shut it off, follow the original steps of this tutorial again. I know this is a lot to learn at once, but with extreme practice and dedication I am confident you will succeed.
I hope you guys found this tutorial helpful.
Here is a picture of the power button itself, I have added a red arrow that more easily points out the button. Note that it should be accompanied by the word "power". The image is kept large to more clearly show you what is going on.
Disclaimer: This is a 3ds XL, if you have a 3ds, view the post by Densetsu for further help.
