How is that a "win" for Europe? Digital games suck especially on the Vita where memory card space is always at a premium?

I guess if people don't like the game they want to sell it.
And the fact that you always need space but the cards are expensive for it, and yes i know that u can only buy the game and download it later when you finish X game, delete and install the new one but people don't have always internet and would like to have all their games with themself when they are at vacation so a physical game would be a better option.
It has an online pass and DLC.
If the memory cards weren't ridiculously priced I may consider it but I like to sell my games when I'm done with them.

I have tons of games for my Vita and only two are physical, one being a japanese import Ragnarok Odyssey (bought before it was localized obviously), and Sorcery Saga (because I bought the collector's edition).
The whole memory card whining is a moot point. Bought a 16GB with my vita and have never once had problems.
Though i'm not cheap and sell off my game collection even when it's physical. I used to do that when I was a poor kid buying games with a paper route, but now that I have an actual job, i'd never in a million years sell a game.
As much as I love amassing a physical army of games, digital is just so much more convenient. Being able to download a game immediately upon release is pretty amazing, and convenient.
...not that it matters at all for this game since i live in NA, but hey.

Well, to me (a collector), it's more about having something to show for it. I'll try to make sense out of that sentence. It's like, when you have a physical copy of a game, you can say: I have the original, and you can actually show it off. This is not the case when you have a digital copy, because (on a hacked system, obviously) there is no difference between a genuine or a pirated copy. At least, not on the end user side of things.
It's similar to emulation, it's far more convenient to use an emulator (well, in most cases), but it's fun to actually be able to show of the real thing.

I already had an 'unauthorised' flac copy of the album but I like it so much I wanted to have the physical thing in my possession. Voting with their wallet. Don't like the way it's being done, don't support it. Buying it just sends, well we don't like it, but we will just moan for a while and buy anyway.
Of course, the company could take it as, "no interest", rather than "no interest in digital", but that's the risk people take.
Partly this, but, for me, there is also the thought that you can play it when the platform is hacked (which is an inevitability, regardless of the platform) and still have the same to show for it as a digital download. Granted this takes more patience, but there are other games to play in the mean time.

I did something like this with FC3:Blood Dragon. I went out and bought a copy for the PC, knowing full well that I would never play that version (I stuck with a (pirated) PS3 version), simply because that was my only way of getting a physical copy. I would not have bought it otherwise (as in, the PS3, digital only, copy), because there would be no difference between the genuine and pirated copies.
Its kinda odd how so many are turned off by digital downloads only. Steam has no physical story or copies of stuff. Actually, I havent bought a single physical game for my Vita either...
I don't find it odd, physical stuff are always more interesting, not to mention that they're more secure on a permanant basis. I can, at any time grab a a mega drive or a snes cart and play them directly. If the games were digital back then, given how long it's been, the servers would be down by now, and the stuff I digitally owned and hadn't downloaded, would be down with them.
I have plenty of steam games, but mostly because I got them either for free, or pretty cheap. For most games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Elder of Scrolls, etc, I'd just rather buy them physically and keep them on my shelf (then again, I'm the type that buys anime dvd's and bluray disks, even though he's watched them already).
