Do you like RTS? Age of Mythology + exp all the way: Mythological creatures, mythological heroes, gods... and the two campaigns are great and cover many legends.

This a thousand times. Loved Age of Mythology as a kid. They released an "Extended Edition" recently that supports HD resolutions and such, grab that if you do enjoy RTS.

Nier (PS3). It's a JRPG which you need to play 4 times (4 endings) to complete. The story's intriguing. Haven't played it yet haha, just parroting people.

If you like Megaman/Zelda/Castlevania try Shovel Knight, it's a fun game. Also the "Tales of" series is good a Jrpg series, Tales of Symphonia/Destiny/the Abyss are good, but I haven't been able to play Tales of Xillia but people like it so it must be good.

Asura's Wrath since no one suggests it but it's really fucking good.

for the JRPG section I highly recommend Tales of Xillia, has replayability as you have to choose who main character you follow and have different cutscenes at certain events, the battle system is very good and the story expands while you are discovering new things and Elise is cute and adorable(OK that last past is only for me).

for action I recommend Metroid Other M(OK no, Guild could set me on fire if I did) Infamous Collection, Metal Gear Rising and Nier, is very rare and scarce but worth getting it.
I also recommend Ratchet&Clank Future A Crack in Time(and recently they added them to PSN) and if you like it play the others, ACiT is the best of the Future trilogy.

Castle of Illusion, its a HD remake of the old Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse game on the Genesis, and it was released for the PS3 and PC, all I can say is.

Seconding this. Besides Sonic, this was some of the best fun I had on my Genesis.

I'd recommend Fire Emblem (Fantasy/Story), and Civilization V (Strategy), since I'm not too sure, but I think LoL is a strategy game, so you might like Civ V.

LoL is a MOBA, but I suppose it has strategy to it. But I must recommend Civ V and FE as well. Can't get enough of that shit

That was back in April, he would've had to have PS+ back then + activated the game to still own it. That, and it was only on the US PS+, not the EU.

I'm indeed impressed by the lack of FiM games seeing how successful it was.

on-topic: I can still recommend a couple more titles
3D Dot Games Heroes: a classic Zelda clone with a original graphic style and humor.
Heavenly Sword: a very good(but short) God of War kind of game.
Persona 3 FES: is on PSN as a PSClassic and I recommend it above Persona 4 because of the darker story of the game.
