Hi,
I just bought an Ace3DS PLUS, but I can’t get it to work with my 3DS XL with firmware v7.2.0-17. When I start the “game” I just get a “An error has occurred” and nothing happens. It is working on my old Nintendo DS Lite.

What do I do wrong? I use a 16 GB Samsung memory card and I have placed the files I downloaded from the official homepage in the right folders and in the root.

I downloaded the files from here:
http://ace3ds.com/ace-3ds-download.html

And I bought the card from one of the stores listed on Where to buy page, so I think it is not a fake card or a clone.

And it IS working on a NDS Lite, so it is not dead.

Ace3DS Plus doesnt work on the latest 3ds firmware, here is a list of working flashcards: http://pongupdates.wordpress.com/flashcards-working-on-3ds/

Thanks for the link.:)

I guess I was fooled by what they wrote on their page:
http://ace3ds.com/index.html

Ace3DS PLUS work on Nintendo 3DS v7.2.0-17 directly! --- 2014.5.13
NOTE:The new version ace3ds plus (released on 5th Jul 2013) can support to 3DS v7.2.0-17.

Are they just lying or are they referring to something else?

ya i went ahead and visited the site and saw that too, its strange cuz their more recent download link is dated in january, so theres no way it'd be compatible with the latest firmware

I viewed here it said the card which released on 5th Jul 2013 can support the 3ds v7.2.0-17, so does your card the old one, since the new card has been tested to support .

I just bought my second R4i 3DS Gold (RTS) cart for my 2DS, this time it's a rev D, and has the white dot on the back. The several rev C cart batches were such a nightmare to deal with... They had some that were marked C, but actually reported as B cards in Wood, then some wouldn't update at ALL past the Dorasu and Metroid updates, and some even had to cut the trace on the board to get it to update... I'm sure glad they finally made a good solid revision, the D cards seem to be flawless. :)

I'm very happy with my new purchase. Got it from realhotstuff.com for $19 and free shipping.
