no, no personal issues. he was just busy with work.

1. gts, pk6 up/down, battle videos, etc.
2. gts, probably battle videos, probably not wondercards, but i don't want to say for sure yet.
3. already solved. not man in the middle.
4. no.

and no, i don't think pokeedit will be adding gen 6 support. they would need to do all the same reverse engineering and development. also, something that makes me very happy, there have recently been iphone/android apps popping up that would connect up to pokecheck and let people do things on pokecheck like managing their pokemon, uploading and downloading pokemon, etc. they won't be able to do that for gen 6 because they would need to do the same things we have to communicate with the gts. unless something major happens, we will probably be the only service supporting gen 6.
I wonder if we'll be able to hack into Gen 7 when those particular Pokémon games release for the 3DS. Like for example. (Pokémon Plus and Minus)

Is there someone who can decrypt my save so it's compatible with pkhex.

Nope. The only one who can do it is you. The reason is that your XORpad for your 3DS is different than everybody else's. You are the only one who can make the necessary backups needed to decrypt it.

Yes. You wait until nintendo releases them.
And remove the mewtwo signature. Having a sig this big is against the rules.

Removed the signature BUT nah, I'd eather think of a faster way to get them instead of waiting because that's the whole reason why I got powersaves, to get unreleased pokemon and items.

I use Xorfiles, it does the decrypting for PkHex.

That is a great tool, and I use it as well. However, it will only partially decrypt it. If you want full decryption, you have to use the new tool as well. The nice thing is though that the bulk of the work has already been taken care of by XORfiles. You can use that keystream in the first box of BruteForcer.

Of course, right now having full decryption doesn't seem to buy you much more.

i have the XOR program to partially decrypt, can you link me to the new tool thats used for full decryption?

alright, everyone should code request datel to let us restore these decrypted files back to our cartridge as it was possible before they patched the feature. What kind of law prevents datel from allowing us to do this? It's just decryption and then encryption, what proof does anyone have it's anything but for experimental purposes or whatever?

Nintendo is probably behind that in some way.

I'm not risking any decryption or encryption, last time I went wrong I ended up bricking my X cartridge so I spent £30 more to get a new cartridge, that really got me annoyed.

The reasoning behind it is most likely to keep Datel out of potential lawsuits. This has been hashed out in the US legal system before.

The first incidence goes back when the first home video cassette recorders were introduced. There were initial lawsuits by the motion picture and television industry saying that the makers of VCR's were infringing on their copyrighted material by allowing people to record a program/movie and then play it back whenever they wanted without the permission of the studios. Therefore, they never had to buy a movie if they just waited to record one. The counter argument to this was that the manufactures of VCR's took the stance that they were just making home entertainment equipment for personal use (home movies, etc) and it was not their fault that the end user could use it to record copyrighted material. The judge found that the manufactures of VCR's were not producing a product with the intent of violating the studios' rights. If they wanted to sue anybody, it would have to be the individual end users who used it to violate copyright laws. That is why we are able to have home video recorders of all sort today.

Now fast forward to Napster. Napster tried the same defense in it's case saying that they were only providing a product and that it wasn't their fault that people were violating the law. However, the big difference (and it was an obvious one) was that Napster was created with the explicit intent of being a pirating hub which allowed users to store files on their site and as such advertised it as a free music studio. This is the main reasoning behind sites such as GBAtemp not allowing links to such things as ROMs or emulators. As soon as a company is found to complicit with pirating, they then fall into the cross hairs of the legal system.

So how does this relate to Datel? Well Datel most likely is operating their service using modified 3DS units with custom software that allows them to hijack the signing process of the 3DS. That is how they can encrypt our saves and send it back to us. Our 3DS sees the save with a valid signature and recognizes it as valid. This signing process is Nintendo's main defense against piracy as the AES MAC encryption is stored and processed in such a way that it nearly impossible to get at them (I say nearly instead of completely due to chip decapping efforts going on now by new group who has posted their initial findings in their blog, however that may not get us the master encryption information needed to overcome the AES MAC.) If Datel allowed free and unfettered access to their servers to sign any code that comes in, that could in theory be used to start signing code for absolutely anything. This could land them in Nintendo's cross hairs and could be a valid claim for damages. By securing their servers and restricting access, it keeps them from running afoul of copyright law and keeps them in the protected land of Galoob v Nintendo.

Its THEIR product they can do what ever they like.
Even if they don't add the codes they're still making decent money.

Well if the rumor about the whole online connection thing completely vanishing by the end of May is true then Datel will probably go bust as all the good codes won't work, I just hope the online process stays up.
