In a nut shell, you are using a tool to place another save file onto your ROM. This only works with ROM versions of the game and cannot be used to share saves on carts by the way (just saying that for anybody new who may not know this.)

Let me ask you one question, do you own a flash cart (either a Gateway or MT Card)?

Powersaves has nothing to do with this. The ROM is the game that you play using a flash cart. You use one of the programs on the front page to open the ROM. You then tell it write the save file to your ROM. This will overwrite any save that you already have on there. If you don't want that, you should back up any save that is on there by using the tool as well.

Open the Rom,then pick load save then save 3ds, the save will then be wrote to the rom

Cant i use the save on my retail card/ eshop version?
No, this method required the use of a gateway card, the save will not work via any other methods.

Actually, I tried it last night, and yes you can with the eShop version. However, you still require a Gateway 3DS to get it up and running.

I started off by creating a duplicate of my SD card, contents and emuNAND, but you don't need to do this if you don't mind losing your save.
This is essentially what you need to do.

1. Inject the save file into a rom using one of the tools in the first post. I used a USA rom to match my region. I don't know if it'll work otherwise.
2. Put that rom onto your microSD, then into your Gateway red card, and into your system
3. Boot into Gateway mode (emuNAND with most recent firmware required)
4. Download the Save Data Transfer Tool off of the eShop
5. After returning to the main menu, select your Pokemon rom using the multirom menu.
6. Start the Save Data Transfer Tool, and follow the onscreen instructions.
7. Enjoy

yeah but most people asking would be running a retail console and wanting to just add the save into the SD card

Were the two hidden Vivillon forms ever on Powersaves? They obviously aren't there anymore, but I'm curious if anyone was able to get them.

No they weren't ever available? Weird, so they had Diancie and the mega Lati stones but not the hidden Vivillons?

What about AZ's Floette, I know THAT one was on there, any of those community saves have one?

Both community saves have Diancie, AZ Floette and Lati@site. Y version has 6 iv versions of AZ's floette
Also the Vivillon codes are pretty recent additions to the Powersaves device and they came out AFTER they pulled all unreleased content so it makes sense they wouldn't add some more in.

I think he is referring to the two hidden Vivillion patterns(one has pokeball like pattern) akin to AZ Floette.

Yeah, I'm referring to the two forms that smealum discovered months ago. When exactly did Datel remove Diancie/other unreleased content? I know the Vivillon forms have been an option for a few weeks but I wasn't sure when exactly.
