Codes I would like to see in XY. It would save the user from a long process of applying a code, switch a item, save and repeat step one. Also it saves the device from getting damaged further.
All berries in one code.
All bag items in one code.

So how come earlier 3DS games can allow gamesave exchanging but newer ones can't. Is it a more updated encryption in place in the saves or simply due to Card2 games only?

an IV selection much like form selection would be nice.

but after attempting to give an example of what i was imagining how it would work i realized the complexity of it. still a cool option. because i would agree we dont need them to be perefect but to select the areas you want the perfect value to be in.

There is no difference. Datel from what I heard even confirmed this. The Pro edition just mentions pokemon on the packaging.
Oh wow. That's so stupid though. I think the pro is more expensive so you basicly have to pay extra for a different box. Which you're most likely going to throw away after you get it....

good to have a thread to track stuff as it comes out, but I think the OP should probably contain some of the basic extremely frequently asked questions. i'm sure you know which ones i'm talking about. "pro" version, diancie/eternal flower/lati stones, hoopa/volcanion, current codes that are of use, how to get unreleased HAs, and why it's currently useless to try to "hack" powersaves itself.

just a few thoughts.

I second the need for the all berries code. Such a pain to try to add them all manually. An all TM code would be nice as well.

edit:I mean an all berries in one single code. I don't know why datel didn't do this to begin with. That has always been a common code. I don't need an all hm/tm code, just the TM's.

Its a pain to add all manually but they are all there. All TMs and HMS is already available, I wouldn't recommend using it though. Its been reported issues for some.

Is Animal Crossing: New Leaf, card2 like Pokemon X/Y, or could we trade save files or maybe even create a town editor?
We are restricted to just what Datel gives us, some games allow save sharing and some dont.

Since the TC isnt gonna put up the FAQ I'll just post it in another topic, excuse me for a sec.

Read the topic title, it doesn't specify to Pokemon. It just happens to be the most common used game for the product.

I know what that title says which is why I brought it up. Just making others know that this isn't strictly pokemon anymore. The last one was strictly pokemon and we all saw how fast that went to shit, most of it was useless after page 50. Just repeated arguing and re-stating old facts to new people. By making this "new" powersaves thread open to all games that powersaves supports, we get fresher topics and new things to talk about instead of going in circles. This way we get a myriad of different people who've never clicked the old thread because they didn't care about pokemon even though they had a powersave. It also could be a powersave Faqs and guide thread.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive

    How are you doing?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
