Is it not possible? Or is it possible, but just not recommended?

I have a 3DS thats updated to latest that I use for my Wifi/retail games like Mario Kart, and I got another 3ds system thats for my Gateway.

What if I want to lend a friend a system and a game for wifi multiplayer?
And what if I want my gateway dumps to use spotpass and friend features?

Safe to use Wi-Fi when running emunand. Turn it off for sys nand.

Then they ban you and no more eShop and online

I rather not use wireless at all on my 3DS till Gateway find a way to mask all the info before it's sent.

one person lost their paid e-shop titles during an emunand transfer or update, I forgot which. The threads in this forum somewhere. No evidence that it was Nintendo doing it on purpose as far as I know

No source needed. How do you think they know when you require update? When your wifi is connected the system sends information to their servers. And its not just about firmware but full report of your system like serial number, mac etc

A source is always needed. I don't doubt that some information is sent, but without documentation it's hard to say exactly what.

i dont think your going to have an issue playing multiplayer. Its not recommenced as some thing update automatically in the background
