I hope this app could had more compatibility in the future, cause it's practically null atm...

Yeah, they're working on it, this has actually come a long way from its very first version which was limited to only playing Wind Waker. Compatibility will improve with time and new revisions, just be patient.

im trying to figure out how to have the current WiiFlow to launch this as a plugin. But I looked on the 1st page here, and there is no info. It just says "Wiiflow:" even though it makes mention that Wiiflow can launch it.

I tried pasting in the NintendontUSB_Beta_7 as "nintendont.dol" and I placed it within the plugins folder of Wiiflow.

But there is no ".ini" file for nintendont, so I altered devolution.ini, to make it look at "nintendont.ini" but I just a frozen black screen?

The actual emulator DOES work for me on my vWii if launched from the homebrew channel, but id really like to launch it from the Wiiflow.

Can someone please help me on this? :-)

Nintendont is not an emulator.

Have you checked Wiiflow to see if there're settings to configure nintendont or a GC loader? the whole renaming ini's is foolish, you can't just take something from a different app and expect it to work.

Edit: And why are you using such an outdated beta when USB support is already merged and working in latest revs?

i don't see anything within wiiflow specificly for "nintendont" i apologize or calling it an emulator.

I'm not always ontop of the latest builds, i work a lot. So i take it there is a new nitnendont usb loader? If so, could you please share the complete build of it? I don't know how to use that google.code thing where it's all disassembled. :-(

The link in the first post should download the newest loader.dol, simply rename it to boot.dol and put in your nintendont folder. As for wiiflow, maybe you should ask in the official thread for it.

Edit: I just installed Wiiflow, and in the settings, press right on the Dpad, and you'll see Default GC Loader. There you can choose nintendont.

Indeed, I mostly use loader GX, as it's been very simple to use and doesn't create folders outside of apps, but I did try CFG a few times as well. Wiiflow has been utterly confusing in the few minutes i've been using it so I doubt i'll use it again, i can't even get it to show my GC games.

If anyone had a save working on a previous rev and now it no longer works please list which rev it was last working with . name of game SD or usb ... as much info as we can get.

I guess nobody wants to fix memory card support, it sucks how most of the coders don't give a shit about regular Wii anymore!

Leaving aside the fact they aren't even getting paid to work on this, and the fact that they have no obligation at all to do it, i think they should be praised and thanked for all they've done so far. You don't even know what they're working at right now, Howard made some changes to try and help pinpoint the cause for -1 error so people like me could at some point maybe use the app. From what I read, Joostin, Greyrogue, Cyan and I think i'm forgetting someone have all worked to make further progress after crediar left the project.. and even crediar reappeared to make a change that would allow to have a language selector in the app.

If you honestly think that is the same as "not giving a shit about the wii" then all I have to say is that you're an ungrateful *censored by myself* that wants everything perfect as if it was as easy as pressing a button and putting a disk (oh, wait, IT IS that easy, if you have a regular Wii with GC ports and GC compatibility out of the box).

They will work on it, whenever they can, however they see fit. So you can wait for it, or you can grab the code and fix it yourself... But as you probably can't do that, and even worse, you might mess up the code and make it worse for everyone else in the attempt, you better wait.

i played Soul Calibur II (PAL) and it's not broken, but it have some issues ocasionally while auto-saving, but overall are fine! :D

played on r50

I have tested Memory Card Emulation numerous times and I have never seen a game where it works properly. In fact, Soul Calibur II (NTSC-US) displays an error on the menu when it's enabled, making the game only playable when memory card emulation is disabled.

Tested out r44 a few days ago and on my first try I managed to get it working. I must say my thanks to the devs for the awesome progress.

One thing I noticed is that some games have input delay. An example being Kirby Air Ride (NTSC).

Is it normal for that to happen?

I think the controller delay comes from your controller your using. I use my normal dualshock 3 and I have no problems.

In fact I have tested Kirby Air Ride myself and it plays flawlessly with Nintendont.
