So is this gateway's new card? so no 2.0 ever...

I fucking hope not, I've backed GW the whole time and this would really take the biscuit. This new site has been registered since January and the box art and site's use of fractals is a little similar to GW.

This is going to suck balls.. You'd think they would have finished the site ready for sales by now though?

If anything... COME ONE TEAM HOMEBREW - Lets get some CFW to destroy this flashcart money machine.

I'll keep the card, and no doubt if this is GW's next thing then no doubt I'll purchase it for the extended functionality... No point speculating however until the site is complete and the sales have begun, then we'll have something physical to compare and speculate over.

No point calling it a clone as of yet as it has NAND save working, since no current clone has accomplished this with their already established warez it either has to be GW or someone with actual knowledge of the code needed to get this working. The plot thickens..

good luck waiting for it :) ,also ii dont believe gateway is behind it cause it got so much trouble programming their v2 and got them a good stable customer income ,but i understand cause of 1 month of no reply most are starting to get unpatient but in the market i see companies as lg sony etc releasing each update more than 8-12 months ,would the customers of them drop hope cause of their late realease? learn to be patient it is needed in this life

Good point dragonmaster... Had the PS4 for 4 months now and still can't play mp4/avi files lol.

Oh wow, it feels like I'm on dialup again watching that page load. And there was absolutely NOTHING on it. What a waste of time...
Looks like another clone. Perhaps based on a GW private beta since it has NAND saving. There's no way to tell for sure based on the limited information we can get from the video, but there's no reason to suspect otherwise. The GUI looks very much like a reskinned Gateway launcher.

I don't think you can compare a multibillion company with years of experience and buildings all over the world, vs a chinese "company?" that the only way we get information is through a web, they could just dissapear and nobody would know where did they go.

The difference is that's a shady internet company selling warez cards. All they can say is "soon". LG or Sony are well known legit companys making awesome products. They don't say all the time "soon". They just release updates, if they are ready instead of promising all the time.

sorry to burst your bubble but lg,sony etc promised updates on android phones on basis but after 2 updates stoped supporting their product ,if you want names let me tell you some lg 2x,lg optimus g ,sony sole ,sony s ,so serious support cannot be claimed even for large companies

The thing is, it's already been speculated that the current Gateway hardware might possibly not support Nand saving or Multirom, which is why they are "stalling" the release of 2.0.
If this were true, they'd obviously start up a new company and "dissapear" and the new company would start producing hardware that was compatible and re-skin 2.0 and sell it as something completely new.

Not saying this is true or not, because I honestly don't know, I just think it's a bit weird that a card shows up with working NAND saving after there's been nothing from Gateway for a while. I also think it's weird that the domain was registered in January, which is the same month Gateway released their NAND save video AND the start of the bricking fiasco.

conspiracy theories maybe :P we will see time is showing everything,at first i was waiting for a scene of homebrew to grow and kill those flashcards but i dont see anything like this to happen so piracy will grow

mt card card also showed a video with nand games working way back in january and instead choose to clone 2.0b2 and just remove the diagnostic mode shortcut
gateway also always uploads to youtube were this team uploads to some chinese video hosting site

How do we know GW are french? A WhoIS of their site comes up registered in Australia, it wouldn't take much to host their shit in China as that's where the parts etc are created and distributed. It's strange Evo havn't touted multiROM or ROM dumping. Lots of stuff to take into consideration here.

How did OP get the details of this new cart/site?

I surely hope this is not a card by gateway and subsequently 2.0 never releases. If it really is a competitor, then good for them, maybe it will get Gateway to get their sh*t together and finally release 2.0
