Hardware home led

well, im not 100% sure, but i dont think my home button led works, i have the zelda edition one and have never seen it light up and the setting is on, any way to check if this works? anyone else having this issue, same game pad maybe?

I think it only lights up when Wii U chat is active, never seen my home button light up.

its supposed to do it when you get a notification as well but i havent noticed it when i have gotten one

Mine only seems to light up when a friend comes online. never noticed if it does for updates or notifications.

no i tried to find a friend of mine that had a wiiu to add to test it but havent gotten a reply yet

edit: does it only quickly flash? or stay illuminated cuz i turned my head for a second and thought i saw it flash but not sure

double edit: ok i have confirmed that it just illuminates real quick and flashes, thanks for the help everyone

Glad to see it resolved. From what i just looked up, at the moment the LED flickers twice for a friend logining on and a constant flicker for a video call.
