Greetings
I noticed there wasnt a thread where people discussed about this wonderful game so i thought we'd have a topic about it.
I have a few questions :)
1. Nemeses, what are they for Im not a high enough level yet to try them so i was wondering what do you get when you beat them? items? loads of xp?
2. I noticed in shops that i got tizes and agneses outfits that cost alot of pg but they dont have any stat changes? what are they for?

1. I don't know, never met any nemeses, as I play offline.
yeah, I don't use any friend summon/send/share/streetpass. I have a new "bot-friend" after each awakened crystal but never summon them.
I don't see any use of online features in RPG (except maybe for the town's rebuilding where you need streetpass). I'm use to play my RPGs Solo.

2. it's used to force the visual on a specific outfit, instead of seeing the job's corresponding outfit.
There's one to always force the freelancer outfit too.
It's very expansive (200k) for such purpose u_u
(there are other item at 200k and 500k with better purpose: exp/pg canceler/doubler, but maybe not that required at the end of the game?)

Edit: and description state that it's "changing over time", but if you need 200k to buy one, chances are you'll buy it at the end of the game, and you won't be able to see any changes if you don't play the game anymore

You're just twisting the knife in the backs of those with NA 3DS,are you? ;)
Not at all I just wanted to start a thread since the game has tones of content and then you guys in NA will get it soon so you can just join in!

How do you find the game then without villagers? I mean like i know that if you upgrade the potions shop you get hi and x potions and ether since they aren't available in shops where I am. I' currently at the third flower city trying to beat the boss in the gardens.

So the outfits are just cosmetic meh 200k gold for that no thank you.
I did notice however items that cost 999999 gold, I dont even know how many nines i saw xD and nemeses are mostly level 99 so does that mean at the end of the game you can freelance? Or maybe your starting your second game with the current levels you have?

Summon a friend is a bit of an unfair feature if you ask me. I streetpass people and get like someone who just right away does 5k attack. Which basically can one shot most bosses at the beginning :/

That does sound kind of cheap :/ Even though the demo didn't leave me excited for the game, I am looking forward to a good RPG. Already pre-ordered through Best Buy though I wish I could snag a copy through Amazon. Can you only get villagers through streetpass? The woes of living in middle of nowhereville.

the demo is nothing compared to the real game. the game starts off and gives you functions slowly explaining everything. the demo just left you in the middle. i didnt like the demo but i got the game and its the best game for the 3ds imho.
You can make yourself a homepass setup like me and get streetpasses at home :) or there is a option in the game and you can get once a day a couple of random people like 3 or 4 for the village which is great :)

Yes, only streetpass (or homepass, look in the faq section) let you get new villagers.

If you don't use xxxpass at all, you are stuck with a single villager.

You have 11 shops/houses which can level up to LV11 each.
At Lv0, it require few minutes to complete it.
Upgrading the village to Lv2-5 is pretty easy with a single villager.

At the beginning of the village reconstruction, you need to wait 2-10H, that's fine, a single night of sleep and the next day you built it :)
But at Lv8-11 it's 99h per constructions, so you'll need few month of gaming to cover all the requirement to complete the village.

I'm playing the game for 20 days now, which cover only ~500H, not even close to the end.
Someone know the total required time to upgrade the village to max Lv?

If you can't streetpass, at least try to homepass.
If you can have 20-30 villagers, it will be a good number.

How do you do that?
I didn't know you could get villagers without streepass.
I got 3 bot-friends, (one after crystal 1, 2 and 3), maybe it unlocked later, or maybe it unlocked only if you have a single villager for a long time.
I'm still at Chapter 3.

There are plenty of nemesis from several levels, I've defeated a couple of level 10 ones and level 25 ones.Once you beat a Nemesis, they're gone for good and you can't send them to other people. As for rewards, you get stuff like buns (which increase your hp, dex, mp, etc... depending on the bun you receive), so it's always a good thing to defeat them.

And meh... I completed my village way too early in the game... It's too easy once you get like 20 streetpasses a day. >.>

No, they're roundish things which are actually called Buns (and look like buns too).

The things you're saying are materials.

I live in Fort Worth Texas, arguably one of the largest and busiest cities in America, and I absolutely struggle with enjoying Streetpass and Local Multiplayer features. I can be away from home often for 8-10 hours and still come home with no street passes, let alone a streetpass for the actual game I wanted. Since Streetpass works in sleepmode, you can never tell if you're around fellow 3DS users, and the ONLY people I physically see with a 3DS in their hands are 7 year olds with Nintendogs, and what luck, I didn't brink my 3DS into work that day, so no streetpass for me. If you're like me and buy games on Day 1, you're often among the 1st a fewest that have that game, and you get bored of it and stop playing before it gets the chance to reach other players, not that it matters because as I said before they're 7.

The only time I got streetpasses was when I worked at Walmart and brought my 3DS everyday. I would average 0 to 3 streetpasses a day, most days being 0.

Bravely default has an option "update data" which you can do once a day and get random people from the internet 3 or 4 usually and you get that amount in villagers. If thats not enough you can make yourself a homepass relay setup which would cost you a normal usb wifi stick and a little time to setup everything and youll get streetpasses and spotpasses for games you want.

I live in a country where nintendo zones don't exist and getting a streetpass hit is almost impossible in my country since the 3ds is expensive and there are only a handfull of people that have it.

Sooo, if I like FF, hated the demo, I might actually like the game?
Im not a fan of FF cause i never played it hard core really and I didn't like bravely demo, my girlfriend also didn't like the demo and she got the game like me. We can't stop playing it its the best game of 2013 and I've read that the sequel is in the making so it will be a big thing and sqarenix made it and alot of people say its better than FF so I'd say yes you'll like it :)
