I only asked a question and a guess. I didn't think i would have been attacked and ironically offended by Adam. I don't understand why because i've always been a supporter since day one.

I thank coderecepts and NSRSM for their kind response.

Don't think he meant you though. He meant it generally :X.
He has the knack to sum up things.

Anyway, I'm beat. Gonna rest and get some entertainment. :P~

You shouldn't be offended that easily; it's the Internet after all, there's a lot of sarcasm going around there and it's better not to take it seriously in case you want to spare yourself the trouble.

Also, translators posting their progress is by no means a standard process, nor a right for supporters.
Besides, all translators I know of do not like people contacting them through PM to ask for:
* a patch link / the current alpha build of the partial translation
* release date of the translation
* current progress of the translation

And they made it clear previously. Want some examples?
Crimson Nocturnal (a fan-translation group that SHUT DOWN because of PMs asking for progress/when will it be done/just hurry up already)
Mother 3 e-mail

If the translators want to post any of this information, they'll do it themselves, whenever they like.
If they don't, they won't. PMing them, or worse, arguing with them about it will only annoy them, and they won't reply in 99% of the cases.
Nobody has any right to have that information, they're doing it for free and out of their own dedication and love for the game, and so there's no need to make the process annoying for them more than it is. They are not paid to do this.

In more than one year, i've only sent a pm, this one. So i'm definitely not one of those who constantly ask about the translation progress nor do i have any rights claimed .
I don't want to argue with anyone, i'm sure there has been a misunderstanding. ;)

I don't think he was being that serious. More of a generalization. I mean why wait for Type 0 when you can play great games with amazing worlds to explore like Lightning Returns.

It most definitely is a misunderstanding. Really easy to do in the internet after all. :p

And like Magius said, better play other games you have interest in currently. Build up a backlog so cases like waiting for a complete translation doesn't becomes a problem. I have over 20 backlogs of games, all from differing genres, that will keep me occupied for a long time. :p

It also helps to understand that translation project, especially quality ones such as Sky's Type-0 project, generally takes quite some time to complete. Though I like to believe that the progress Sky's team been going at have been relatively quick compared to other translation project I've glimpse over the years. It's been a little over a year since this project had started (they started in January if I remember right) and they progressed really far and they deserve all the praise for their perseverance.

@Shelter

See how the internet is full of irony? But seriously, i don't even think it worth it doing more weekly updates, since they were for the main scenario, and it's about to end.

And yeah, I remade the web, I actually like how it ended looking ^^"

will multiplayer work on psp 1000 once we get the patch?

Yes, it will.

And the link is the one in the signature, it's just that it's been recently registered and in some part of the world is not yet accessible.

I like your new website Sky. :yay:

Easier to navigate and I can use my Discus account.:)

Thanks, I'm still working on some stuff to get it nicer, so the fanbase may not freak out if it goes offline once or twice while I still play around ^_^".

bro its possible play with the new files without update my firmware 5.50 gen ?because i not want update and lose my saves /its possible any patch to work(the videos not work :(/or when fineshed post the files in a 2g /thanks

Hey Sky, I still couldn't figure it out :/ .... in case you missed my question:

Is there a way to open your 2+GB yellow.pkg file from your merged ISO somehow?
Noesis doesn't seem to handle that file (retail files from the split ISO work tho).

Regards,
iCEQB

Err... No, in order to merge both UMD's I had to change the format of both fsd and pkg files. That's why noesis won't open them correctly. In fact, each version of the merging files have a different yellow format. The only way to "open" those files is by using my translation tools, which are private atm.

~Sky

I don't really know whether it is feasible to do a tool that converts the two commercial UMDs to the custom merged single iso.
But you should definitely look into the possibility.
Potentially losing all of the work because of a DCMC takedown on the hosting service (mediafire did it, afaik) would be a shame. Better remove any risk of having bits and pieces of game code being distributed in any form to avoid any trouble...
