Hardware Which download to update blue label R4iGold 3DS from Gold Deluxe?

Unfortunately, I have a 7.x 3DS and not a 4.1-4.5. I know I can't use the 3DS part of this bundle, but I should be able to use the blue label cart. I've downloaded the "The 3DS V6.2.0-12 Patch for R4i Gold 3DS is released now! (for R4i Gold 3DS card only)(Aug.6th,2013)" firmware and used the DSi version to patch from my DSi. I've done this many times with my other R4i 3DS cart, but when i use this on the blue label cart (which should be the same as the R4i 3DS) the card check fails.

Which download do I need to use to update the firmware on the blue label R4IGold 3DS?

That's what I thought too. But the Blue label R4i Gold 3DS from the Gold Deluxe 2 card set is not working on 7.1.0-14. The card check fails when I try to update it using my DSL or DSi.

so your saying yours isnt working already on 7.1.0-14?

I am receiving the same error. Blue card cannot be updated. And it gives and error when booting from 7.1 . Any fix will be appreciated.

you arnt using the DS card once you are using the Emunand are you?

pretty sure EmuNAND stops DS mode from working

There wont be an emunand as the 3ds is installed with 7.x firmware.

R4i team said it should already work on 7.1.0 Fine
they will be looking into it further

Correct. The blue lable R4i Gold from the 2 card Deluxe set is not working on 7.1.0-14. However, my older R4i 3DS does work on 7.1.0-14.

I find it strange as they say that the blue label card is supposed to be "the same card" as the R4i 3DS on the inside. I've opened both cards and it does appear to be the same, but the blue label fails the card check when trying to update via DSL or DSi.
