Nintendo's sitting on about $4 billion cash and about at least 3 times that amount in assets. They can make another console if that is their wish.

Next system will leverage Nintendo's dominance in the handheld market by being the first console to unify both markets.... using the handheld as a base station for the wireless controllers and a wireless dongle to connect to a TV via HDMI.

Name will be really some awesome code name for the project, then some retarded name for the actual system... Ultra 64, Revolution, as examples... lol

Why wouldn't they survive? Nintendo are the only one who make fun consoles. Ms and Sony just make the same games you could get on PC. Nintendo makes Nintendo games, which are awesome.
