Hacking Gateway How do you save?

How do you save on gateway? is the only way to press home then X?

or can you save in-game if there is an option? thanks,

Also anything else I neeed to know playing on a gateway using roms?>

Also how do i play DS games from the blue cart please?

I think that you should go here.

You have to press Home and then X or Close. There is no ingame option (because the save has to be transfered from the GW internal memory to the SD card of the 3DS).
You can drag and drop DS games to the blue card. But you could copy the Ace3DS+ AOS over the GW Wood menu if you want to have better game compatibility.

I always just press the power button to turn the 3DS off then select the power off button on the screen, i have never done the press home and X button combo. Never had issues with saves either..................sudeki300

okay im just a bit confused because basically i havent played a 3DS game yet. on my psp, i press start, save from the in game menu and quit game. is it the same for 3DS w/gateway? whats the difference between saving on gateway and non gateway?

and how do u play the DS games once they are on the blue cart?

1. The problem is that you have to a)save the game ingame from the memory to the interal GW chip and b) from the internal GW chip. I hope that that will answer your question.

2. You select them in the menu?

Just use the 2.0 Beta 2 release if you don't want to have corrupted save files.
Yep, it's not more. Just play a bit with your GW and it will teach you how to save right ;)
