Hacking R4i Gold confused..

Hello,,

first time poster and first time getting the 3DS for my kids.

I just had a question. I am getting the 3DS XL and saw that there are 2? different R4i Gold cards..

R4i gold 3DS for 3DS / DS / DSL / DSi / DSi XL V1.4.5

and
R4i Gold 3DS Deluxe Edition starter Revolution Play 3DS Games


what exactly is the difference between the two ? if i wanted to load 3DS games onto it ?

The latter is for loading 3DS ROMs... The former is for loading DS ROMs...
And I believe the R4i Gold 3DS Deluxe also comes with a standard R4i Gold 3DS in the form of a "starter card"?

The same question to me, just curious why an administrator "hated" the team(R4i team) that much, isn't it weird ?

He is not referring to a r4 team in particular but to all the r4 rebranded crap around, if it fits you, wear it.

Btw I find weirder that you recommend to a user the card of the team you represent.

Yeah I know and I recognize the r4i gold card for ds games is a good card, I just ask people to be a little objective.

I have to agree with you again, anyway the team behind the card shouldn't be an attacked objective in any case, hopefully everyone here realized it.

lol sorry didnt know that my question would turn this into a flame war....

i didn't want to open the 3ds since its going to be a gift for the kids but i opened it anyways and found that its 5.1.0-11U so I cant use the "R4i Gold 3DS Deluxe" anyways

No 3DS cards work, but if you want a DS cart, go for it. Just make sure you know it's been updated for 7.0, or works with it.
