Hacking What firmware version do I have (Can this be real?)

So,

Just got a 3DS (normal version) from a Dutch retailer.

The box says (c) 2011, so I hoped the 3DS had < 4.6 firmware

So I went to system configuration and it says 1.0.0.0E there, is this the software version(and am I really lucky) or is this not the Firmware version?

If it says it's 1.0.0.0E it probably is.

Now you only have to update it to 4.5 somehow =P

1.0.0-0E

1.0.0 = System menu version
0 = eshop version
E = European

You just bought a "launch day" model, which has the first System menu version installed on it.

If you use the online update menu, it will update it to 7.0.0-12E
If you want to keep your console at a lower version to use a Flashcarts, you need to update using a game (up to 4.5.0)
Your console will then be 4.5.0-0E (I think games don't update eshop at all. Mine is 4.5.0-5E)

Don't forget Marktplaats. That's where I got mine. The guy I bought it from sent it immediately and I had it in my mail the next day, and for a cheap price too.

Yeah... It's almost like an article of history or something.
I'd almost say it's worth it to make a NAND backup of this 1.0 Firmware... Just so you'll always have that piece of history.

The second is a limited edition 3DS XL
The third is my 4.2 3DS XL. Not going to sell that for a 1.0 regular 3DS =P

i have only 1 console and i don't have money for get another one or anything at all xD, i was like: hoo this person got 3 consoles, that is too much i think why do he\she wants a 4º one if i am happy with only one
