Misc Use the YouTube 3DS App to watch videos on other sites!

Step 1: Open the Youtube app
2: click the item in the top left(looks like 3 bars)
3: go all the way down to settings

4: Tap Email settings.

5: Tap comment Notifications (Change on Google+). It should take you to this page:

6: Scroll all the way down on this page and click "Download Google Chrome"

7: Scroll all the way down on the next page. You will find a link saying "Google", click it.

8: You are now on google. Go to other video websites with mobile compatibility to watch the videos probably. Seems to support MP4 video mostly.

So test sites and try to get sites to work, post results!

I was logged in, but ill check on my actual youtube account instead of the only one it decides to show you.

EDIT: yeah, you need to be signed into your youtube account. Not your google account.

i wonder if it works with just youtube account , fucking miserable cunts at google disintegrated my googe+ bullshit from my youtube ,bastards are censoring eveyone and making it so you cant comment on youtube by banning you from google+ and making youtube seperate again , but with no ability to comment and it forces you to change your channel name again , google sucks

also i wonder if you go to a website with the 3ds browser if it will open youtube videos in browser or auto open them in youtube all, i doubt it though

thye dont say reall ythey give alist of reasons, but the accounts are beung banned right away now i had a 2 week strike , then like an hour afte ri was able to comment agaun they disintegrated the accounts,
im not sure wny exactly but it keeps on happening
they are fucking ruining everyhting

i think it could be some new spam filter but i really have no idea, i thing maybe if you post the same same comment in 2 different videos or if you post the same link under the comment in more than 1 video it will strike you or if you post the same comment twice in the same video ,either that or they just ban people that they dont like what they say 'this shit is getting fucking ridiculous i have had like 10 strikes and 5 accounts banned yt partners are pissed about the new system, everyne is pissed, google is the fucking umbrella corporation ,they can go suck a big fat dick

Well you could make a 2nd Google account, and create a Google plus with it, then associate your YouTube account with your new Google account. That would probably work.

i actually have not tried to do that, make a new g+ and link it to a youtube account that was previously associated with another g+ account that was terminated

but i dobt that would work

you ahve set up a whole ne email account then set upa whole new gmail/g+/youtube account

when it splits your account it also forces you to change back to a single work channel name ,not the 2 feild name as before with google=, i like having a 1 word channel name but if you have one you can use the full youtune , and you cant comment , this shit is so fucked u , they are doing it on purpose to purge people and try to make youtube like tv and also to get peope to use POS g= , but i dont know how they are going to do that when they are constantly fucking banning accounts

they are censoring and banning people from the internet or the main stream part of it by making you have to use POS google or POS facebook to sign into every site almost, if you say somehitn they dont like they ban your g= or FB account and you can no longer comment
this is total censorship

i have tried this with a few anime sites and none worked unfortunately. if someone succeeds to make an anime video site (mobile sites have higher chance), please let us know.

sucks using this YT app with emunand ,cause the fucking thing always crashes and when it does it makes you reboot the whole thing instead of just kicking you back to the home screen ,then you have to reboot like 5 times cause 2.0 beta is so buggy ,stupid nintendo,couldnt have made it go back to home screen when it crashes

yeah well that's boring though, I installed emunand on my 3DS only to get this youtube stuff working and I'm a bit disapointed it doesnt do well while using gateway exploit.

Good news however, I'll try this asap, I wonder if it couldn't be used to exploit over 3DS, like you host some special stuff on your LAN that you consult from this app and some magic happen...

I badly need to consult localhost with this and locally watch videos with this app.

I tested it thoroughly on EmuNAND, wasnt getting any crashes, occassional 1-2 second freezes only

i dont think it has anything to do with emunand ,i think if the app crashes on a stock system the same thing would happen,i think they made it have to reboot the whole console instead of just exiting the app and going back to the home screen

Erm. No? It works as intended on my legit 6.3 3ds. It's emunand thats going crashy on you.

There's another way to do it.

Log out, then go to the login page. Tap "Help", then go to the very bottom of the help page, then tap "Google". You should be able to search from there.
