If they knowingly sent you a defective gateway card to replace your first defective one, then they are dishonest and playing games with you. Ask for a full refund, and if (probably) they refuse, contact your credit card issuer for a chargeback. They should have a policy against online retailer fraud.
 
This guy isn't lying at all. Trust me. Look at the video in his post, the card he sent back to DWTECHZ is 100% 1:1 identical to mine. There is absolutely 0% chance that this card was not his.

Go back a page and look at my photos. Then check this video where this guy pulls his cart out and you will see what I mean.

Well, I hope you'll do a last attempt just to get a refund; you deserve some justice on this case.
 
Do us all a favor and yell loud and proud on the Shoptemp page for DWTechz. The more people know about that site's problems, the better everyone benefits.
 
I posted one review but I didn't know they sent me his card, maybe I can go back and modify it or add a new one. Wow seriously. Wow.

I have ordered from a LOT of flash cart sites in the past going clear back to lik-sang and upstate games and from then on to various places. I have NEVER had something like this happen! :O this blows me away.

BTW a big fuck you to all the kiddies that keep trying to troll this thread. See how I am right? user error my ass, piss off.
 
I have been contacted by Dwtechz about your issue.
They are telling me that they got your first card back, and they sent another one.
They swore it was another new card, and that it has been tested & found working. They are claiming that the problem is on your end.
They've asked me to remove your reviews from both the forums and shoptemp, but I obviously refused, at least not until we have a clear explanation and a definitive answer as to who is at fault here. I've advised them to improve their communication with you so that a peaceful solution to the conflict can be found.
Meet them halfway, alright?
 
its great to see that people are getting together involved in this to get to the bottom of this i know how you feel and i wish you the very best to get this resolved :)

Costello, I tell you no lie. I posted photos of my card and I posted a link to the guy in Ireland's video which displays the very same card that I have in my possession. That is enough evidence that they shipped me the defective card after receiving mine.

What more can I say? That is pretty much the end result. I can't say anything more than that.

If they pay you to remove the reviews and the forum post then so be it. But for now at least some will know what happened with this transaction. I think that this whole experience with dwtechz was a bad idea and that I should have ordered elsewhere.

This will be my last post on this subject because I already spent too much time on it. If they want to email me still fine but this is wasting too much of my time.

you telling everyone that you won't further post in this thread and are giving up on trying sounds like kind of an admission that you're lying.
as I said: meet them halfway, try getting that card to work, follow their instructions and continue communication with them.
 
How is this a lie? I provided video evidence before. You can see it's the same card. It is the same issue.

I was set to give up here from the amount of BS I received from oeople here. Would that make me a liar?

Costello, that isn't what I'm saying, but I am very busy and spent 4 hours working on this cart alone. If you want to say that I lie you can delete the thread if you wish but I will continue with them as per your instructions.

They will have to tell me how to get rid of the SPI error or if that is something that is suppose to be there, they'll have to tell me how to get rid of the yellow "non user repairable fault" that the end user cannot fix by themselves.

I'll wait for email reply then.

Btw Costello in my country meeting someone half way means that you get half of the money inbetween so I didn't understand what you meant since we were talking about a hardware issue. For example, I had a coworker that got a job offer from head hunter and he went to my boss and said if he could meet him half way, he would stay (that meant that if he got offered X dollars and the boss was paying him A dollars, it would fall between those two in the middle).

So anyway I'll keep an eye on email but it is your web site and shop and you can do the changes that you deem necessary.

Hell, even a quick Google search has a definition of that idiom.

I feel like we're all being Xuphor'ed.
 
Are they refusing to do another RMA for you? Just the condition of that card should be reason enough. It might help your case a bit if you explain what steps they are asking you to take.
 
I told them that Costello told me to contact them for troubleshooting so we troubleshooted it and can't get any games to work which makes sense since they sent me the wrong card. They keep insisting that they sent me a brand new one but the condition this was in, it is not brand new. But since I have to go with what Costello says we treat this as a new card even though the sticker was peeled off in the same place as the guy from Ireland had and it won't play any games.

I have tried another ROM on it that they wanted me to do and it still won't work.

I worked on this til I went to sleep so I even had a dream about working on it. heh.

...She's Xuphoring? Xuphor pretended to have an illness. This is nowhere near on the scale. It was a terminal illness, mind you.

I fully believe this is the card I had.
 
I know it is the card you had but they want me to troubleshoot it so that is where it is going. I just am slim on time this week because I have really difficult studies to do for school.

Every time I tell them it was your card they insist that they sent me a brand new one. Why would a brand new one have the stickers removed and so much scuff on the top label. They even told me that they send the bad ones back directly to the manufacturer and the manufacturer replaces it. I asked them if the manufacturer is in California at that point because that is where they sent yours to.

I'll see if they have some sort of special software that will repair the chip inside I guess because all gateway says is this is a non user repairable error and they give no further information. Gateway team doesn't offer anything to fix it. I would have to say at this time that team gateway is pretty shoddy and the lack of support just means that they don't want to do any work. I wouldn't be amazed if they drop support for this product soon after this latest update of 2.0. Would not surprise me at all.

btw sicklyboy isn't contributing so I'll just ignore his posts because it will end up just turning into a little baby flame war. not sure what he is trying to accomplish here.
 
Looks the same to me as well. The two little tears/marks in the bottom of the sticker look exactly the same as that video.

I don't see why you should have to troubleshoot.

Card is blatantly not new. Even if it worked 100%, you paid for new, you should get new.
 
It's Costello's rules. These people insist that they sent me the brand new one. You can see where the stickers had been taken off for troubleshooting so I was wondering if they got someone's broken card to work but they won't even explain that. I told them that they sent me one that was suppose to go back to manufacturer in error. They go around the subject. Don't you just love how people in this world go around the subject when things are right in front of them? Story of my life. But oh well... I'll have to try to compartmentalize and let this one sit. It is a skill that I have a hard time acquiring unfortunately :(
