someboydy got this email.

2.0 won't support those firmwares.

We do not know when our software for firmware 5.x and 6.x will be ready, but we
are working on it and will be released as soon as fully tested.
It requires some work that can't be counted in hours of engineering, because
programming is not like that. It can by anywhere from 1 week to 3 months.
Meanwhile, we repeat it again and again: do NOT update your firmware.

Our sincere apologies for the delay to answer your email. With this soon coming
2.0 release, we have been flooded with email, and work, and we have been a bit
behind answering everyone. We should be back to speed soon!

The Gateway doesn't support 5.x and 6.x firmwares, it only runs them via emuNAND - you still need a 4.x 3DS to boot the Gateway in the first place.

Due to a complaint filed by the Dream Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) I am afraid GBAtemp cannot directly link to that file. The source site I mentioned does have a link available, though it is up to the user to find. It's honestly not difficult. :P

Strangely you have to enter the URL without the "www." to see the latest updates.

I cant seem to get the Gateway mode to start.

i go in settings and nintendo DS profile and it just goes back to the home menu. i dont get Gateway mode?

what am i doing wrong?

1. Backup emuNAND.
2. Backup 3DS SD card to PC.
3. Format emuNAND.
4. Boot into emuNAND mode.
5. Update 3DS.
6. Play games.

Playing Legend of Zelda on 6.3 ATM.

EDIT: Hold L and then press "Nintendo DS Profile Settings" then prepare to be amazed.

to play zelda i should perform a NAND backup, and update it?
OMG so nervous, available to 4.1-4.5 only, right?

Zelda runs without messing with the NAND. I'm still on 4.3 and booted Zelda fine. No forced updates or anything.. at least, not from the ROM I'm using. To be clear, I'm talking about Zelda ROM - I don't have a Zelda cartridge.

It's possible that your browser cached it up as a new website when you didn't type www. in the beginning of the address. Just clear your cache, people - the update is there. ;)

What are the 2 NAND save games that aren't working? I know AC is one of them, MH4 or Pokemon being the other?

Everything works as intended. emuNAND working like a charm, eShop access, and just about to try out Kid Icarus to see if I can go online.

Taking ages to do the system update. Don't rememeber legit updates taking so long. Maybe the lexar card that came with the xl is just shit or maybe I don't remember update times (not done in a long time).

Really, it says right in the damn release notes

GW 2.0b1 enables up to date compatibility, barring only the 2 known NAND based titles and you people still ask does pokemon work.
