Hacking Filetrip cannot host R4i Gold files anymore either

We received a DMCA notice ordering us to take down all R4i gold files.
Just FYI.

So once again:
- do not upload or re-upload any R4i gold related files

Not sure if sarcasm, but how does a piracy-related card become "good" if Nintendo takes down the files?

Nintendo wants to get rid of all piracy, no matter how "good" or bad.

On one side, I can agree with Nintendo.
They want to prevent another disaster like they had with the R4.
Ironically, the R4 made the DS popular.

On the other side, it's not copyrighted software.

Depending upon how they use it there could be a case that it is a legitimate use of it. From what I understand the current 3ds implementations probably would not get this but hey.

Anyway this is probably just another less legal aggro the better situations, it is not like it will be hard to find either.

If Nintendo can't stop games on torrent sites, they have 0% chance to stop firmware files!

I think it might just be wiser to make a stickied thread listing the files we can't post. Because I am pretty sure we are also not going to be able to post the files for the 3DSLink either. Which from the looks of it, means pretty much any future 3DS flashcard to come out, we won't be able to post nor host the files for them.
