Im curious on what PSN is. and i kinda wanna sign up. but my psp is iso-capable. is that safe?

How would i know if im on the latest version? I wasnt the one who hacked this since i bought this used online. Its a psp 2000.
Also, does iso-capable = hacked psp?

Go to settings and check your firmware, of it is the at the last CFW than is should say
"6.60 pro or 6.60me/lme"

Turns out mine is the latest version. i successfuly registered on the psn.

but what is this psn thing anyway? can i download games here for free?

Psn is playstation network..... Id no you can't download free games besides demos on here but you can get free games
