I think realoading Cache does not work.
I Edited an cover and uploaded it via FTP, realoded cache but it still shows me the old cover.

*Edit

FTP Server Crash while downloading Pictures from SD Card
- WiiFlow restarts after crash
- FileZilla used as FTP Client

If nothing is working you probably don't have everything needed for the mod to work properly like the cIOS's or other system components that need to be modded.

I know there is a flame war over this but I've used Pimp My Wii with zero problems for years and I won't say how many modded systems.

Google 'pimp my wii 3.01 download' and download from the first link. Run it from the homebrew channel and select the top menu item and select all the defaults. When done your system should run fine.

Or you could use ModMii - google search it and you can find instructions for it.

You probably will be flamed for saying this also :P

So let me try to soften it up by saying:
If you want the easy way to update your wii, then use PMW... although you have far less controll over what is being installed.
If you want the second most easy way to update your wii, then use ModMii, more controll and you might learn something about modding at the same time.
If you want the least easy way, you manually install all the neccesary things you need, this has the advantage that you learn and know what you are doing and only install the absolute neccesary.. the other 2 options tend to install too much stuff.

So thats the lowdown, take your pick.

Ok so great progress with the western digital at least the dios mios icon shows up in wiiflow now I just need help with this one error and I'm golden! Fatal error app_main:dst not in MEM1!"

Make sure you are formatting your hdd with 32kb, and not 64kb. I also recommend using DMToolbox and choosing 'Optimized' and '32kb' before installing.

I have a question: Why does WiiFlow take a while to open?

The other homebrew apps are pretty instant but not WiiFlow.
If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say it's probably all the huge cover textures it has to cache, on top of the usual themes, banners etc. Having the slickest, fanciest UI usually involves a performance tradeoff on any hardware.

no luck with re installing the games same outcome eather the splash screen stays, goes to a black screen after splash screen, or i get "Fatal error app_main:dst not in MEM1!"

Well, what is long, once cached, wiiflow starts in about 5 secs. here

DIOS MIOS = USB
DIOS MIOS Lite = SD

PMW will not brick your Wii. There is an entire other very large thread and flame war over that.

no problem! im always glad to help if i can. the majority of this will not solve your DM problem though. very few steps that allow DM to work flawlessly.

first is HDD compatibility. That one is tough to determine, but can be ruled out pretty easily. check against others / try different drives is the only solution.

step 2 ) format to fat32, 32kb clusters.
step 3 ) grab a loader (wiiflow, usb loader gx, cfg loader, dm launcher by fix)
step 4 ) make sure you have games in usb:/games/FOLDER_NAME/game.iso (or if extracted should be bunch of files)
step 5 ) launch the loader and profit.

IOS does not affect DM directly. It may affect the launcher from loading properly. Most will work with just IOS 58 anymore.

HDD formatted FAT32
all OK

I have had success with NTFS volumes when WiiFlow was on an SD card and just the WBFS folder with the games was on the NTFS partition.
