Hacking Trouble Loading GCN Games using any loader.

Hey, I've had a softmodded Wii for a long time now and have been using my HDD (Seagate 1TB) to load Wii games forever. With my Wii's disc drive failing to read discs, I figured it'd be great to load GameCube games through USB as well. I've tried many different variants using DIOS MIOS and Devolution, but I've never been successful with getting a loader to work.

I've done the whole process of partitioning to a FAT32 drive with 32k clusters etc. but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I used to get the DIOS MIOS Green screen, but upon upgrading my WiiFlow to 4.2 and DIOS MIOS to 3.0 (Since I hadn't tried loading GC games for a while now), all I get now is a black screen.

I've noticed though, when I go to load GC games, my TVs resolution changes to the correct aspect ratio (4:3), but the drive turns off. When I play Wii games, however, the drive stays on. This happens on WiiFlow, CFG Loader, USB Loader GX, etc.

Idk , if that means anything, but I wanna get this working really badly. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

1. Are you converting the games correctly.
2. Do you have the latest DIOS MIOS installed 2.10 ( No not Dios Mios LITE witch is for loading games off of an SD card)
3. Do games appear Upon using any loader.
4.Are you putting the games in the right folder; USB:/games/RandomGame_ID/game.iso

Yeah I've done all of those things correctly.

I don't even get a DIOS MIOS splash screen on any loader.

Wii games work fine. Just not the GCN ones. :x

Tell me the files that are with the game you converted ther should be the game.iso and sme other stuff to.

Should there be? The games are being found on my loaders. there's only the game.iso in each game folder. It's just strange how the USB turns off when the Wii goes into GameCube mode. Wii games work fine and the Drive stays on when I play those.

Yes there should be, in most cases i hear this happens when using DMT, instead you should use DISCex.
Most of time when you only have the game.iso and not the other files needed then you will get a black screen or a message saying"error app loader size is zero"
like i said use discex as it will make the other necessary files.

I used DiscEx and I have those files that you're mentioning.

So that's unfortunately not the issue.. :\

Oh so please go through the steps that you have done or did so far.
I know its a pain to get this thing working because i have gone through the same thing.
